Duties

  • Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to maintain cleanliness and appearance
  • Trimming fur, nails, and performing breed-specific grooming styles
  • Checking pets for signs of health issues or skin conditions and reporting concerns to pet owners or management
  • Maintaining a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and equipment
  • Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences
  • Handling pets gently and safely during grooming procedures, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Ability to handle animals gently while performing grooming tasks
  • Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during grooming sessions
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and attention to detail in grooming standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
