Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to lead our sales & marketing efforts. This is a role for someone with a proven ability to create and manage multiple lead generation efforts and close sales (enrollments). This person should love dogs – and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!

The primary responsibility is to grow the number of dogs in daycare, by:

  • Generating new leads and following up with existing leads
  • Converting leads to Meet & Greets
  • Selling enrollments to Meet & Greets

The person in this position must:

  • Fully understand the daycare and boarding model
  • Fully understand and be able to effectively explain the benefits of our services
  • Plan and manage the social media campaign(s)
  • Determine and effectively manage the digital spend
  • Establish and manage the guerrilla marketing efforts
  • Manage the referral program
  • Conduct the 11 stop tour to prospective Pet Parents at the Meet & Greet
  • Manage the communications with leads
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, & provide status reports

Requirements:

  • Proven track record & experience in sales & marketing
  • Experience with guerrilla marketing and event planning/execution
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Business experience with Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact, Canva
