Name: Rhubarb!
Age: 1 Year 10 months
Breed: Vizsla
Favorite Activities: Our 1-year-old Vizsla princess, Rhubarb, is pure sunshine in dog form. She spends her days playing happily with her friends, trotting around wide open, and collecting cuddles from her favorite coaches. She may have a little puppy energy sparkle, but it’s perfectly balanced by her gentle heart and the sweetest honey-colored eyes that make everyone fall in love instantly. We’re so lucky to get her every single day.

Most Lovable Qualities: Certified goofball, professional cuddler, and full-time party starter. Rhubarb is playful, wiggly, loving, and always down for some fun — with just the right amount of chaos to keep things interesting. A little rambunctious, a LOT adorable.

ABOUT US

For Wolverine Worldwide employees, we offer an on-site dog daycare and spa that is conveniently located on the headquarters campus. All daycare dogs must pass a Meet & Greet evaluation to ensure your dog’s safety and comfort in an open-play environment. Additionally, we will perform a safe and simple health check-up and assess temperament. All pups are separated into playrooms by both size and temperament. We have two indoor playrooms as well as an outside play area.

All dogs in open play must be at least 3 months old, spayed/neutered if over 7 months old and up-to-date on vaccinations. Required vaccinations are Rabies, Bordetella, Canine influenza and Distemper Combo (may include Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvo). Leptospirosis vaccination (if not included) is highly recommended.

If you have some time off work planned and would like to board your dog with us while you are gone, we are happy to accommodate your furry family member at our Dogtopia of Grand Rapids location, 2321 E. Beltline Ave NE, Suite H, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49525.

STATE-OF-THE-ART-FACILITY

Dogtopia offers dog-central features such as climate-controlled play areas, compressed rubberized flooring to help protect paws and joints as well as all dog-safe cleaning products. Our playrooms are supervised by Canine Coaches, who complete a rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior. Pet parents can watch their pup play on our live webcams except during naptime. Naptime is from noon to 2 p.m. and provides some “me time” for the dogs as they nap in individual home-style crates. It also allows our staff to serve lunch and medications to those who need it and clean the entire playroom before an afternoon of rousing play!
