Located at the corner of Timothy and Main, this lovely little shop offers a broad selection of quality yarns and supplies needed for knitting and crochet, and they even host a free knit night every Thursday from 7pm-9pm. They will also welcome you and your pup as your browse their shop!

Home Sense – 17940 Yonge Street

Need to buy some household goods? Bring your pup to the Newmarket Home Sense location, where your dog will be welcome to browse around with you and they will surely love the pet section!

Chapters – 17440 Yonge Street

Bring your pup into Chapters where they are welcome to browse around with you, but keep in mind that they are not permitted in the on-site Starbucks. However, during nice weather days, you and your furry friend can lounge around at the Starbuck’s outdoor patio.

Simone Performance – 200 Mulock Dr. #11

Simone Performance is more than accepting of dogs and their pet parents. While waiting for your car to get repaired, you and your leashed pup are always welcome in the lounge, where they provide a water dish if needed.

Newmarket Main Street Farmers Market at Riverwalk Commons – 538 Timothy St.

You can expect to see lots of dogs and great vendors serving homemade products and farm fresh foods and produce at Newmarket Farmers Market at Riverwalk Commons every Saturday from 8am-1pm, May to October. It’s a great place to enjoy locally sourced goods and socialize with new people and pups alike. Keep in mind that dogs are not permitted on the splashpad.

Market Brewing Company – 17775 Leslie St. #4

What’s better than sitting back and relaxing with your pup while enjoying a local beer? At Market Brewing Company, you can, as all pet parents and their dogs are welcome inside or out. They also host many doggie events where local pups and their pet parents get to hang out, have fun, enjoy a pint and grab a bite to eat!

The Maids Cottage Patio – 223 Main Street S.

At the Maids Cottage Patio, the patio is dog friendly. Bring your pup out with you to The Maids Cottage Patio the next time your looking for a great homemade breakfast, lunch or snack and grab some award-winning butter tarts for the family.
