  Dogtopia of Owings Mills offers dog daycare, overnight boarding, and full-service dog grooming and spa services in a safe, supervised environment designed specifically for dogs. Our daycare features spacious indoor playrooms where dogs are grouped based on size, temperament, and play style and supervised by trained Canine Coaches.Whether you need regular daycare while you're at work, a safe place for your dog to stay while traveling, or professional grooming, our Owings Mills team can help create a routine that works for you and your pup. • What are Dogtopia of Owings Mills' daycare hours?

  Dogtopia of Owings Mills is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  With adequate advance notice, we can often accommodate early drop-off beginning around 6:00–6:30 a.m. at no additional charge. Contact our team ahead of time so we can confirm availability and make arrangements for your pup.

  We are closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Dogs boarding with us continue to receive care when the lobby is closed.
• Do I need a reservation for dog daycare in Owings Mills?

  We recommend making a reservation so we can plan appropriately for your dog's playroom and ensure availability. Existing daycare dogs can conveniently request reservations through the Dogtopia app.

  If your plans change, reservations must be cancelled by 7:00 p.m. the evening before your scheduled visit to avoid a $25 late-cancellation/no-show fee.

  If your dog is new to Dogtopia of Owings Mills, the first step is scheduling a complimentary Meet & Greet.
• What happens during a Dogtopia Meet & Greet?

  Every dog must complete a complimentary Meet & Greet before attending daycare or staying overnight at Dogtopia of Owings Mills.

  Our trained team gets to know your dog's personality, health history, comfort level, energy level, temperament, and play style. We also introduce your dog to our daycare environment and carefully observe how they respond to our team and other dogs.

  The goal isn't simply to "pass a test." It's to determine whether open-play daycare is a good fit for your dog and, if so, which playgroup will help them feel safest and most comfortable.
• What vaccinations are required for dog daycare and boarding?

  Dogs attending daycare or boarding at Dogtopia of Owings Mills must be current on Rabies, DHPP/Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations.

  Current vaccination records must be provided before your dog can participate in daycare or boarding. These requirements are one part of our broader approach to maintaining a healthy environment for dogs who socialize together.
• Does Dogtopia of Owings Mills accept dogs that aren't spayed or neutered?

  Yes, puppies can attend daycare before they are spayed or neutered as long as they meet our other health and Meet & Greet requirements. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age to continue participating in daycare and boarding.

  Because Dogtopia is an open-play environment, this policy helps us maintain safe and appropriate social groups as puppies mature.
• How much is dog daycare at Dogtopia of Owings Mills?

  Drop-in daycare at Dogtopia of Owings Mills is $55 for a full day and $35 for a half day. A half-day visit is any daycare visit under six hours.

  For dogs who benefit from a regular daycare routine, our most popular weekly plans include:

  • 2 Days Per Week — $95
  • 3 Days Per Week — $126
  • Unlimited Daycare — $195

  Monthly options are also available, including 8 days per month for $400, 12 days per month for $565, and Unlimited Daycare for $750 per month.

  Many pet parents also appreciate having a tired, happy pup at the end of the day — plus the ability to check in through our live webcams.
• How does Dogtopia of Owings Mills keep dogs safe during daycare?

  Safety is built into our daycare program. Before participating in open play, every dog completes a Meet & Greet, and dogs are grouped according to factors such as size, temperament, energy level, and play style.

  Our playrooms are continuously supervised by trained Canine Coaches who learn to recognize dog body language and intervene or redirect when needed. We also use secure entry systems, specially designed rubber flooring, established cleaning and sanitation procedures, vaccination requirements, and structured rest periods.

  Pet parents can also watch their dogs through our live daycare webcams.
• Is Dogtopia of Owings Mills climate-controlled?

  Yes. Our indoor dog daycare playrooms are climate-controlled to provide a comfortable environment throughout Maryland's hot summers, cold winters, and unpredictable weather.

  Our facility also incorporates fresh-air ventilation and regular cleaning protocols designed specifically for an active dog daycare environment.

  This allows dogs to exercise and socialize regardless of rain, snow, excessive heat, or other weather conditions outside.
• Do you offer dog boarding in Owings Mills?

  Yes. Dogtopia of Owings Mills offers overnight dog boarding for dogs who have completed our Meet & Greet process and are comfortable in our daycare environment.

  Unlike a traditional boarding experience centered primarily around kennel time, Dogtopia boarding includes daycare, allowing dogs to spend their day playing, exercising, socializing, and interacting with our Canine Coaches before settling in for the evening.

  We strongly believe familiarity makes boarding less stressful. That's why dogs need daycare experience with us before an extended boarding stay. We kindly request that all first time boarding dogs or dogs who have not been with us for an extended period of time, attend 3 days of daycare prior to the boarding stay. For our new pet parents, these few days are free of charge.
• Does my dog need to attend daycare before boarding?

  Yes. We want Dogtopia to feel familiar before your pet parent leaves town.

  For shorter boarding stays of one or two nights, dogs need at least one full daycare day before boarding. For boarding stays of three nights or longer, dogs must complete their Meet & Greet plus at least two additional daycare visits before their stay if they have not visited Dogtopia for an extended time period.

  These visits give your dog an opportunity to become familiar with our team, playrooms, routines, sounds, and environment before staying overnight.
• Does Dogtopia of Owings Mills offer dog grooming?

  Yes. Dogtopia of Owings Mills offers full-service dog grooming and spa services, making it easy to combine grooming with daycare or boarding.

  Services include professional grooming and haircuts as well as baths, nail trims, brush-outs, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, and other spa services.

  Having grooming available in the same familiar environment can be especially convenient for dogs already attending daycare — and for pet parents who would rather make one trip instead of several.
• Do you accommodate senior dogs?

  Yes. Senior dogs can enjoy Dogtopia as long as daycare remains an appropriate environment for their individual health, mobility, temperament, and energy level.

  Our specially designed rubber flooring provides a more comfortable surface for paws and joints than hard concrete, and dogs are grouped based on more than size alone. Temperament, energy level, and play style are also important.

  During your senior dog's Meet & Greet, we'll discuss their individual needs and determine whether our daycare environment is a good fit.

  Yes! Dogtopia of Owings Mills features a secure outdoor play space that gives dogs the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, outdoor play, and a change of environment throughout their daycare day. Our outdoor area complements our spacious, climate-controlled indoor playrooms, allowing our Canine Coaches to incorporate outdoor time when weather and conditions are appropriate.

  Having both indoor and outdoor dog daycare spaces gives pups more variety throughout their day while still providing the safety, supervision, exercise, and socialization Dogtopia is known for. Whether they're playing with friends indoors or enjoying some fresh air outside, dogs have plenty of opportunities to stay active, engaged, and happy.
