  Dogtopia of Towson offers dog daycare, overnight boarding, and full-service dog grooming and spa services in a safe, supervised environment created specifically for dogs.

  Our daycare features three indoor playrooms — Toybox, Romper, and Gym — allowing our team to create appropriate playgroups based on dogs' size, temperament, energy level, and play style.

  Conveniently located for families throughout Towson, Lutherville-Timonium, Cockeysville, Parkville, and surrounding Baltimore County communities, Dogtopia provides a place where dogs can exercise, socialize, learn, and have fun while their pet parents are away.
• What are Dogtopia of Towson's daycare hours?

  Dogtopia of Towson is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  For pet parents with early work or travel schedules, we can often accommodate early drop-off around 6:00–6:30 a.m. with adequate advance notice and at no additional charge. Please arrange early drop-off with our team ahead of time so we can ensure appropriate staffing.

  We are closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Boarding dogs continue to receive care when the lobby is closed.
• Do I need a reservation for dog daycare in Towson?

  Reservations are required for daycare at Dogtopia of Towson so we can ensure availability and properly plan our playgroups and staffing. Existing daycare dogs can conveniently request reservations through the Dogtopia app. All appointment requests must be in our system by 7 pm the day before your visit. Dogs participating in an enrollment plan are given appointment priority and during our busiest days, drop-in appointments may be declined. All parents will be notified of your appointment status by 7am the day of your appointment.

  Reservations that need to be cancelled must be cancelled by 7:00 p.m. the evening before the scheduled visit. A $25 late-cancellation/no-show fee applies after that time.

  Dogs who are new to Dogtopia must first complete a complimentary Meet & Greet before joining daycare.
• What happens during a Dogtopia Meet & Greet?

  Every dog completes a complimentary Meet & Greet before joining daycare or boarding at Dogtopia of Towson.

  Our team will learn about your dog's health history, personality, energy level, routine, comfort around people and other dogs, and previous social experiences. We'll then carefully introduce your dog to our environment and evaluate their body language, temperament, and play style.

  This helps us determine whether open-play daycare is right for your pup and which of our playgroups provides the most appropriate environment.
• What vaccinations are required for dog daycare in Towson?

  Dogtopia of Towson requires dogs attending daycare or boarding to be current on Rabies, DHPP/Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations.

  We also recommend discussing the canine influenza vaccine with your veterinarian, particularly for dogs who frequently socialize, board, visit dog parks, or spend time in other environments where dogs gather.

  Current vaccination records must be provided before participating in daycare or boarding.

• Do dogs have to be spayed or neutered to attend Dogtopia of Towson?

  Puppies can begin attending before being spayed or neutered as long as they meet our other health and behavioral requirements. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age to continue participating in daycare or boarding.

  Drop-in dog daycare at Dogtopia of Towson is $55 for a full day and $35 for a half day. A half-day visit is any daycare visit under six hours.

  For dogs attending daycare regularly, our most popular weekly plans include:

  Monthly options include 8 days for $400, 12 days for $565, and Unlimited Daycare for $750 per month.

  Our approach to safety starts before your dog's first daycare visit. Every dog completes a Meet & Greet, and our team evaluates temperament and play style before introducing them to an appropriate playgroup.

  Our Toybox, Romper, and Gym playrooms are supervised by trained Canine Coaches who are taught to understand canine body language and recognize changes in behavior, stress, energy, or wellness.

  We also use secure entry systems, quick-release collars, specially designed rubber flooring, vaccination requirements, structured rest periods, cleaning and sanitation procedures, and established protocols for illness, injury, and emergencies.

  Pet parents can also watch their dogs through our live webcams.

  Yes. Dogtopia of Towson has climate-controlled indoor playrooms so dogs can exercise and socialize throughout Maryland's changing seasons.

  Instead of losing a day of activity because it's extremely hot, cold, raining, or snowing, dogs have a comfortable indoor environment designed specifically for active group play.

  Our facility also incorporates fresh-air ventilation, outdoor access, rubberized flooring, and regular sanitation procedures to support a comfortable daycare environment.
• Does Dogtopia of Towson offer overnight dog boarding?

  Yes. Dogtopia of Towson offers overnight boarding for dogs who have completed our Meet & Greet and required daycare acclimation visits.

  Boarding at Dogtopia combines overnight care with our daycare experience. During the day, boarding dogs can participate in supervised play, exercise, socialization, and enrichment before settling down for the evening.

  Because your dog has already spent time with our team and in our facility before boarding, the environment, people, routines, sights, and sounds are more familiar when it's time for you to travel.
• Does my dog need daycare experience before boarding at Dogtopia?

  Yes. We believe dogs should become comfortable with Dogtopia before their pet parents leave town.

  For a one- or two-night boarding stay, dogs need at least one full daycare day beforehand. For stays of three nights or longer, dogs must complete their Meet & Greet plus at least two additional daycare visits.

  These acclimation visits help your dog become familiar with our Canine Coaches, playgroup, daily routine, and facility before their overnight stay.
• Does Dogtopia of Towson offer full-service dog grooming?

  Yes. Dogtopia of Towson offers full-service dog grooming and spa services, including professional grooming and haircuts, baths, nail trims, brush-outs, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, de-shedding services, and more.

  Grooming can often be coordinated with daycare or boarding, allowing your dog to play and then head home looking and smelling fresh.

  For regular daycare families, having grooming available in the same familiar facility also makes keeping up with your dog's grooming routine more convenient.
• Does Dogtopia of Towson accommodate senior dogs?

  Yes. Senior dogs are welcome as long as our daycare environment remains appropriate for their health, mobility, energy level, and temperament.

  Our rubberized flooring provides a softer surface than concrete for paws and joints, and our climate-controlled rooms provide a comfortable environment throughout the year.

  We also consider temperament and energy level when determining the most appropriate playgroup, which can help older dogs enjoy socialization without needing to keep pace with younger, higher-energy dogs.
• Can you give my dog medication during daycare or boarding?

  Yes. Dogtopia of Towson can administer oral and topical medications while your dog is attending daycare or boarding. We cannot administer injectable medications.

  Medication should be provided in its original container with clear instructions. Please discuss your dog's medication and dosing schedule with our team at drop-off so we can document the information and incorporate it into your dog's care.
• What happens if my dog has a medical emergency at Dogtopia?

  Our team is trained to recognize signs of illness, injury, stress, or other changes in a dog's condition and to follow established emergency procedures when concerns arise.

  If veterinary attention is necessary, we'll contact the pet parent or designated emergency contact. For emergency veterinary care, we use Pet+ER in Cockeysville.

  Having established health, wellness, documentation, isolation, communication, and emergency procedures is an important part of how we care for dogs throughout the day.
