Our newly opened facility is clean, modern and fully staffed with dog-loving professionals who can’t wait to shower your beloved pup with attention!
What Makes Dogtopia Dog Day Care Different
At Dogtopia, we believe dogs benefit from plenty of exercise and socialization with other dogs and humans. That’s why we have an open play setting, where our doggy daycare guests are free to run, jump, sniff and explore. We promote dog etiquette and all-day open play in a safe, fully supervised environment.
Our state of the art facility offers 6,200 square feet of indoor space. We separate our daycare dogs based on size and playstyle, and have three spacious playrooms (the Gym, the Romper Room and the Toybox), to accommodate dogs of all ages and sizes. Each of these rooms contains their own HVAC unit with infrared technology to eliminate any airborne viruses or pollutants, and noise- and impact-reducing rubber floors that are comfortable on your dog’s paws.
Does your dog enjoy playing outside? Our facility also offers a 700 square foot outdoor play area equipped with antimicrobial K9Grass.
Dogtopia of Birmingham also offers live webcams, which enable you to check in on your furry kids throughout the day.
Our Team
The dog-loving professionals are trained in dog behavior, CPR and first aid, and are dedicated to making sure your dog has a fun and safe stay with us. Our team members are familiar with many different breeds of dogs and are trained in managing multiple dogs at a time and understanding dog body language.
Who Can Come?
The safety of our canine guests is our top priority, which is why we require all dogs in our daycare pass a Meet & Greet evaluation to ensure Dogtopia is the right fit for them. Dogs must also be:
- over 3 months old
- spayed or neutered if over 7 months
- current on required vaccines: rabies, DHPP, bordetella and canine influenza
- free of fleas and ticks
- free of communicable diseases for 30 days
