Hello, my name is Gina and I am the Assistant General Manager at Dogtopia of Bloomfield. I joined the Dogtopia team in 2018 as a Canine Coach, working alongside your pups in the playrooms! To say I fell in love instantly would be an understatement.

Being a part of each dog’s socialization journey has been an indescribably rewarding experience. Watching our daycare dogs grow, build confidence, make new friends, and continue to thrive throughout their senior years is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do. Dogtopia has fueled my desire to learn more about each dog in our care. As this desire grew, it allowed me to step into the position that I hold today.

As a pet parent of two pups myself, I understand the importance that safety, socialization, and exercise play in a dog’s life, as well as the positive impact that it can have on you as a pet parent. Creating a safe and loving atmosphere, where each dog in our care is treated as our own is always my priority. With this in mind, I have created a team that shares the same mindset, goals, and values in making each visit with us the most exciting day ever!

Linden, Shift Lead

I’m the Shift Lead here at Dogtopia of Bloomfield Hills! I joined the team back in 2021. I’ve always had such a passion for animals, and this job just screamed my name. I love working here because not only do I get to meet all kinds of different dog breeds and make connections, but I also get to form bonds with pet parents! In my free time I love crafting at home and spending time with my dog, Fauci.

Victoria, Dog Groomer

I have been having so much fun working at Dogtopia since starting in July of 2025! This job has allowed me to pursue my passion for teamwork and spending time with dogs. I’ve been a groomer for over 3 years and have worked in the dog industry throughout my life. Grooming has been the perfect opportunity to showcase my love for dogs and being creative. Outside of work I love spending time with my dogs Kip and Jasper! Especially when I can take them swimming, hiking, and traveling!

Makenna, Pet Parent Concierge

I have worked at Dogtopia in Bloomfield Hills for over 4 years! A few interesting things about me are that I love to read, play video games, garden, and spend time with my animals. When it comes to working at Dogtopia, I love the connections I build with our pet parents and their pups. I would go to the moon and back for the dogs at our facility, just like I would do for my own!

I’ve always had dogs growing up, so working with them is a win in my book! Joining the Dogtopia of Bloomfield team in 2021 was the perfect fit for me. There is nothing better than coming to work and seeing how happy your dog is to be here with us! Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog Nova and reading new books.

I have been a part of the Dogtopia team since December of 2024. Some fun facts about me: I have a double doodle at home named Scout, I was born in Guatemala, in the future I would like to have 3 American Pitbulls, and my favorite color is purple!

My favorite thing to do in the dog daycare playrooms is sing and dance around with the pups! I also love snuggling up and giving them love when things are calm. Over two years of experience working at doggy daycare in Bloomfield has allowed me to form strong bonds with all of our dogs. A few interesting things about me is that I really enjoy all mediums of art and music. I love discovering something new!

The thing I love most about working as a Dogtopia Canine Coach is watching our day care dogs make new friends! It’s so much fun seeing them play and taking them outside to relax in the sun each day. I’ve been working at Dogtopia in Bloomfield since September of 2024. My favorite part of the job is seeing all the silly things the pups get up too and giving the dogs as much love and affection as I possibly can. Hi my name is Tabitha, but most people call me Tabby. Some things I like are photography, graphic design, and music. When I am chilling with the daycare and boarding dogs at Dogtopia, I make sure everyone gets love and attention while I keep the room safe and happy.
