Dogtopia of Burlington has been giving pups in the Burlington and Halton region a reason to wag their tail since 2017. Our off-leash, open-play environment is one that encourages the trifecta that helps our fur babies lead happy, healthy lives; exercise, education and socialization. We offer a variety of services, including doggie daycare, overnight or extended boarding, and spa packages.

We are proud to serve pet parents in Burlington, Halton and the surrounding areas. You can easily find us located in the Millcroft Shopping Center, on the North West corner of Upper Middle Road and Appleby Line, right next to the Beer Store. There is also plenty of parking right out front of our shop.

DOG DAYCARE AND MORE IN BURLINGTON

Just like children, our four-legged family members require a structured environment where they can get plenty of exercise, have fun, socialize with others and learn new things. Regular daycare provides all these benefits and more! In our off-leash, open-play design, your pup will learn valuable skills such as how to have safe interactions with humans and other dogs, which leads to better behaviour at home.

At Dogtopia of Burlington, we believe in giving our pups total freedom, which is why each of our playrooms is leash-free. Our canine guests are in open-play from 7am to 6pm, with periodic rests throughout the day until their parents pick up a tired and happy dog at the end of the day. Pet parents also have the benefit of choosing from any of our flexible daycare packages, including half-day or full-day daycare services from Monday-Saturday.

Vacations are meant to be relaxing but worrying about your dog while you’re away can add unnecessary stress. We make figuring out accommodations for your fur baby easy with our overnight and long-term boarding services that treat your dogs to a thrilling vacation of their own.

Give your dog the royal treatment at our fully equipped spa! From baths to teeth cleaning, we offer a wide range of services that will keep your pup clean and healthy. Our grooming salon even has a viewing window where pet parents can watch our certified groomers in action!

A SAFE, MODERN FACILITY

Our cutting-edge facility boasts 5,968 square feet with three separate playrooms: the Gym, Romper and Toy Box. Each dog is assigned to one of these rooms based on their size, temperament and play style to ensure the safety of all our canine guests. There is even a window into our Toybox room where you can see our little pups play and run around every time you come to visit!

Each of our playrooms is fully equipped with UV lighting and HVAC systems that keep the temperature at a comfortable 21 degrees, as well as helps eliminate any airborne diseases or allergens. We also have non-porous, compressed rubberized flooring that is gentle on your dog’s paws and joints, especially pups that suffer from hip dysplasia and other joint ailments.

We understand the anxiety that comes along with being away from your dog. That’s why we provide live webcam access that pet parents can watch during play hours to check up on their furry family member. Our clients love the webcams and the ability to check on their dog throughout the day and see how attentive and professional our canine coaches are.

AN EXPERIENCED TEAM YOU CAN TRUST

Each of our canine coaches is fully trained and certified in understanding even the most subtle dog body language, as well as managing many dogs of various breeds. The custom curriculum has been approved for continuing education credits by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

Dogtopia of Burlington has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification  Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.
