We are so grateful for the crew at Dogtopia!
Rainey goes once a week to Dogtopia, and she loves it. She is eager to go and visit her people friends and dog friends and is eager to come home. She gets exercise and socialization. Even though she only goes once a week, everybody knows her and seems to care about her. We are very pleased with Dogtopia!
Great staff
My lil’ Jasper RUNS from our car to the Dogtopia entrance when we first arrive. That tells me everything that matters.
Everything! All the staff members are so kind, sweet, fun and totally loving towards all the dogs.
During overnight stays, should be communication between anxious owners and the management. Some owners we get stress not knowing if their pet has eaten, how was the night or if they are doing well.
Also to be sure always inform customers about be sure their pets are not carrying a easy communicable disease like kennel cough.
Absolutely EVERYTHING! Our miniature schnauzer, Oliver is a total velcro dog, so attached to me, that when I leave for work in the morning, he lays at our kitchen to garage door and crys for about 10 to 20 minutes which breaks my wife’s heart! When I come home, he begins carrying on jumping and yipping before my car is fully into the garage. I mention all of this, because next to my wife of 63 years, Oliver is the love of my life and finding someone or a facility I would trust with his care when we are away, is absolutely paramount to our even considering to leave on a vacation or any other kind of trip. Dogtopia, Blackhawk, IS that place. While Oliver fiercely resists when I bring him in, after a short while, your amazing staff of dog lovers are able to get him calmed down and settled and with the purchase of extra cuddles each day, when we come home and I pick him up, I always find him happy, healthy and right back to his sweet and loving self. I LOVE Dogtopia and do not know how we could ever leave Oliver without you. That also goes for occasional “play dates” when I am working late with patients or on call and my wife is tied up for the day with activities. Oliver quickly adjusts and is able to enjoy his Dogtopia day.
