The staff. More than any where else, this staff cares about the dogs and it shows. And it also shows when my dog comes into the building and runs to greet any/all the staff members and they all know her by name. I love the staff and it’s a credit to Michel and the team he’s built.

I know you can’t really help it, but the smell is a little bit bad in there.
Dogtopia of Downtown DC has the absolutely kindest, most dog-loving staff you could ever imagine. My dog is *obsessed* with all of them. They also throw parties and events for the dogs all the time, giving them extra stimulation, attention, and exercise, and they make the dogs delicious treats! This is such a wonderful group of people I am not only comfortable but happy leaving my dog with all day while I’m at work, or even for multiple days when I go on vacation. Rudy loves you, Dogtopia!

Everyone working here is always so kind and they recognize my sweet dog even when we haven’t gotten to visit in months. I really appreciate the events they host for the pups and I feel confident in leaving my dog with them.
They treat my dog like she is their own. She loves going to daycare.

Wonderful, loving staff really make this place special. The webcam is also a great feature. Wish the last pickup for daycare was 9pm or later, but we don’t want to be too greedy!
