Our girl dog has severe anxiety issues. The team at Dogtopia always looks out for her and gives her prescription anxiety meds as needed. I like that they give her a bath and nail trim prior to picking her up so she’s all fresh and clean to come home! The facility is very clean and always smells clean! All the employees are very friendly!

Easy, friendly and I always trust that our doggies are loved and taken care of!

We took a break from Dogtopia when there was a “dog flu” going around and our vet recommended to take Pierce out of daycare if he really didn’t need to go. Once we restarted his once a week session for socialization I noticed when I dropped him off in AM before work there was only one person at front desk instead of two and most times no one since they were taking another dog back. This is a problem since I need to get to work and drop off needs to be timely. One day another pet parent also waiting told me that since Dogtopia was bought out by a different company jobs were cut and that is why there is no longer two friendly people at front desk during drop off and pick up. Everyone at the Mechanicsburg location is wonderful. I believe they’re hiding their frustration and stress because they obviously love their job.
Today for example: I drop off Pierce. No one at front desk so I assume they have taken back another dog. Once someone comes out they apologize and say they are the only one there. She is calling to try to find others to come in. All dogs in all rooms will be in kennels until she finds staff and district manager will be in at 9.
Hello to those in charge of this facility. You have loyal staff who love their job; do you think that cutting staff is the answer? There are customers who depend on your services so they can go to work. We only bring our one dog there to socialize while the other two are at home while we work. I for one could leave this one kenneled at home for free instead of paying $36 for one day. Wake up or you will be losing customers! Do not blame the staff they are great. It’s the management/owners who are to blame.

We love the people who take care of the dogs at Dogtopia. They are so good with the dogs! We feel very comfortable leaving our feisty litt;e terrier with them.
