Erica took the trouble to look up my dog’s breed on line (Lagotto, not a common breed) and determine what her grooming needed to include. She also called the corporate office to speak to the manager regarding this breed. The manager had never groomed a Lagotto so Erica followed the instructions on the site for the Lagotto. She accessed the site of a breeder near the Twin Cities (the same site I was accessing) which provided detailed instruction regarding this breed and how they should be groomed (they have an undercoat which is damaged by brushing). She set up a grooming plan to return my dog’s coat to that of a Lagotto (Gnocco had previously been groomed as a Labradoodle). Complete success! I meet with Erica every three weeks. She does a full groom on the third week and maintains the coat on the other two visits. I could not be more satisfied. After her first full groom, a car stopped in the middle of a busy street while I was walking Gnocco and yelled that my dog was gorgeous. That had never happened before. Have been taking my golden retriever to Dogtopia Golden Valley for 2 years now and have always had a positive experience. My dog loves the staff and his friends at daycare! Highly recommend!

Dog daycare in general is just really expensive, so I’d only recommend to specific friends who I know have the funds to do it. I think the only thing is that I’ve seen on the cameras a few times that the water bowls are empty for a while and dogs start looking at the mop buckets to drink. I know folks are busy, but that could cause issues for sure.
More attendees in the room with the pups for more human attention and interaction.
