Kate & Vishal (And Maggie), Owners
We are honored to be part of the Dogtopia Family and to open our first daycare in Montgomery, NJ. For us, Dogtopia is so much more than a business. It’s a vehicle to live our values by providing a much-needed service in socializing dogs, while providing an opportunity for our team to grow into leaders, and to give back to the community with The Dogtopia Foundation. We strongly believe Dogtopia Daycare provides a natural way for dogs to socialize, exercise, and simply hang out with their BFFF’s (Best Furry Friends Forever) in a clean and safe environment, all while becoming good Canine Citizens.
The team we have assembled for Dogtopia of Montgomery is nothing short of inspiring. Team Montgomery not only share our values but are so incredibly dedicated to our vision and to our Pet Parents, their pups and this community we know you will love them as much as we do! The outpouring of support and excitement from the Montgomery community has been incredible! We LOVE our Pet Parents and their pups! It warms our hearts to be a part of your lives each week with regular daycare visits and to be able to offer support when needed as our Pet Parents go through the milestones of life.
The Dogtopia Foundation is a crucial part of our business. Supporting the three noble causes; Youth Literacy, Employing Adults with Autism and sponsoring Service Dogs for deserving local Veterans gives us our purpose over profit. We are so proud that we raised enough funds to sponsor our First Service Dog before we even opened our doors! We’ve now raised enough for 8 Service Dogs thanks to the generosity of our Pet Parents and community and we are just getting started!
Besides being happy and loving pet parents to our rescue dog Maggie, who is the inspiration for embarking on this adventure with Dogtopia, we share four human daughters as well, ages ranging 19-24 years old. Vishal has worked in the Technology Industry for over 20 years and Kate is a Certified Life Coach, lifelong community volunteer and dog whisperer. Kate trained her Golden Retriever, Dexter, to be a Therapy Dog and regularly visited a school for Autistic children with him. In our spare time Vishal loves to play golf and watch football, Kate loves to read and go hiking, and they both love to exercise, bike ride, travel, and spend quality time with their family and friends.

Ivett (And PheePhee & Lucie), General Manager
Hello! I am Ivett, the General Manager of Dogtopia of Montgomery, and I am happy to start my Dogtopia Journey with Kate and Vishal. Originally born and raised in Hungary, I have had dogs all my life. Dogs are the little creatures that life gave to us; A partnership which would never fade over time. I am so happy I am able to not just unconditionally love them, but work with them and have a job about them! I am really looking forward to giving back all the love that I receive from these wonderful creatures through Dogtopia. I have two little fur babies on my own; Pheephee and Lucie who are my best friends and partners in life.
Melissa (and Fitz), Pet Parent Relationship Manager
Hi! I first became a part of the Dogtopia family when I needed a safe place for my senior pup to play when I went back to work after the pandemic. I was so impressed with the level of care they gave Fitz, and had such an amazing experience with Dogtopia that a year and a half later, I packed up my life (and my dog) and moved from the Midwest to the East Coast to work with a new Dogtopia franchise! In my free time, I enjoy taking road trips, reading, and of course, spending time with my best bud, Fitz! Fitz is an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I rescued four and a half years ago from the zoo! He enjoys sleeping in late, playing with all his pup friends, going through the Starbucks drive through for a puppuccino, and exploring new outdoor trails with his mom!
