Oakbrook Terrace Reviews

Friendly staff and very clean and organized. I have used A few Dogtopia’s (in another state), in the past, and this one is far cleaner (no strong odder) ! Yay!
Staff is very friendly &accomodating
My dog loves coming here and I appreciate I can watch her on the cameras throughout the day!
Love the people that work at the Oak Brook location. Always friendly and so sweet to my dog.
I can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate the genuine care for my dog Luna – everyone knows her, she’s SUPER excited to see them on daycare days, and I can just tell there’s a lot of love for my girl in that building. I get to work stress-free and with peace of mind because of y’all. Thank you so much.
Pick up / Drop off process is well organized and easier than any other facilities in the area.
Staff is Dog Friedly and very attentive to all needs
Understanding of how to work with animals versus humans, and doesn’t expect Human behavior out of Animals.
I love that staff it’s supper friendly and helpful.
My dog love to be there. He was super tired when we got home.
Very friendly staff and nice facility
Two of my boys have attended Dogtopia OBT now and one other Dogtopia location. Muggsy was a senior when we came across them. My biggest concern with him was that he had bad arthritis and had notable limping. Petey began attending daycare here when he was a rambunctious silly puppy doing zoomies and wrestling hard with whatever size dog would match his energy.
Pros for Muggsy were the flooring that didn’t send him home limping, the ease of access to the location, the friendly desk staff, the groomer at the time, the fun themed photo or activity days (Muggsy’s fave was anything food related but he also sat like a pro for a good pictures too!), the few attempts at a mini or wee room day or two, the coaches that used to make the extra effort to reach out to my old man in the corner to make him feel welcome and special. I also saw coaches during this time doing nice things like running around the playroom to get the dogs to chase them or drawing on the playroom floor. These extras were nice to see. Muggsy craved human attention much more than dog to dog attention.
Petey started attending here during a staff change, manager(s) leaving, activity coordinator leaving, etc. Petey is a mix of wants to play with his furriends that can match his energy but also loves a good butt scrathie from his coach.
Pros for Petey are their large rooms where Petey as a puppy could be Petey and even now he can go a few rounds before he gets tired, the ease of access to the location, the few themed photo or activies they have managed to run during the staff changes, We’re glad to see they are starting to get back in the groove and do more activities. The one coach in her early days that allowed him to fall asleep on her lap the entire afternoon, a number of dogs that match his energy level and play style. We’re also happy to see that they’re getting
Cons: Need more mini or wee room themed days. Elderly dogs could use some loungers in the rooms. More outdoor time for all rooms of dogs.. The other location that both of my boys have or do attend make an effort to get all three of their rooms of pups out at least once in the morning if not twice and again in the afternoon. More interaction between coaches and dogs. Could offer some events/activity at no charge to all. The other locations doesn’t charge extra for every little activity or picture day they hold and include all pups in a lot of these days not just by sign up.
Very accommodating to our needs.
