Hi, I’m Nick Losciuto, owner of Dogtopia of Rock Hill. I opened this location in 2023 after nearly a decade of running Dogtopia of Ellisville. I built this location for families who want higher standards in dog care — not facilities with vague expectations and limited visibility.
I chose Dogtopia because the brand is built to raise the bar with clearly defined safety, cleaning, and supervision protocols — and then prove it through transparency. With live webcams throughout the day, you can see how dogs are supervised, how play is managed, and how we deliver consistency every day.
Dogtopia of Rock Hill is a 7,000 sq ft facility with nearly 5,000 sq ft of dedicated indoor play space across three fully separated playrooms. Because the environment is fully climate-controlled, daily routines stay consistent year-round. Every new dog starts with a Meet & Greet evaluation designed to onboard both the dog and pet parent.
What sets us apart in practice
Live webcams to check on your dog in the playrooms
Deep cleaning and sanitizing twice daily, plus ongoing spot-cleaning
Fully rubberized flooring to improve traction and protect joints
Fully separate playrooms with independent HVAC, no shared air between rooms
A daily routine that includes structured play and planned rest
Daycare here is structured, supervised open play led by trained Canine Coaches, creating a safer and more beneficial alternative to dog parks. Dogs are placed into one of three separate playrooms based on size, temperament, and play style so groups stay safe and balanced. The day follows a predictable routine with planned rest periods to support safer play and better overall balance. Live webcams let you check in throughout the day and see your dog enjoying supervised play in a well-managed environment.
Puppies: behavioral development and coaching For puppies, daycare is guided socialization during a critical developmental window. With controlled introductions and active coaching, puppies build confidence, learn polite play, and develop better impulse control that reduces fear and reactivity and helps them settle more easily at home and in public.
Adult dogs: exercise and social engagement For adult and senior dogs, consistent activity supports mobility, helps maintain muscle strength, and keeps many dogs more comfortable day to day. Dogtopia’s DASH activity monitor also shows daycare dogs often get significantly more steps and activity than they would at home alone. Ask our team about DASH if you want that data for your dog.
Book a complimentary Meet & Greet to see the playrooms, meet our team, and get your dog approved for daycare.
Boarding at Dogtopia of Rock Hill is built around the same structured daycare routine your dog follows during regular visits. During the day, boarding dogs participate in full-day daycare with supervised, off-leash play in matched groups, separated by playroom and led by trained Canine Coaches.
This approach keeps dogs active, social, and engaged rather than confined for long periods. Familiar routines, consistent supervision, and a clean, climate-controlled environment help many dogs settle more comfortably during longer stays.
Live webcams allow you to check in throughout the day and see how play is managed in real time.
Book a complimentary Meet & Greet to get approved for boarding. If approved, your dog can also enjoy a complimentary daycare day to help them acclimate.
Pamper your pup with our grooming and spa treatments for a clean and happy dog. We offer services including baths with brush-outs, de-shed treatments, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and nail trimming.
Safety, Health, and Transparency
Dogtopia has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets™. This certification program in infectious disease management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, as well as cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy. The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, and Pet Sitters International.
Dogtopia of Rock Hill runs daycare and boarding with clearly defined protocols:
Accountability through visibility
Live webcams let you check in throughout the day so you can see supervision and playroom management in real time.
Structured supervision
Trained Canine Coaches are in the playrooms guiding play, matching dogs by size and temperament, and reinforcing safe behavior.
Cleanliness and environment
We deep clean and sanitize twice daily, with ongoing spot-cleaning, and all playrooms have independent climate control and rubberized flooring for joint protection and comfort.
Meet & Greet screening
Every new dog starts with a structured Meet & Greet evaluation to confirm they fit our open-play environment and to place them in the right playroom
A TEAM YOU CAN TRUST
At Dogtopia of Rock Hill, standards only matter if the people in the room are trained and accountable. Our team is trained to read canine body language, manage group play, and reinforce healthy behavior using positive methods. Our curriculum is approved for continuing education credits by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
The leaders responsible for upholding those standards every day:
Nick Losciuto, Owner Owner of Dogtopia of Rock Hill, focused on setting clear standards and building a team accountable for safety, transparency, and structured care.
Haily, General Manager Leads the Rock Hill team day to day, managing coaches, routines, and the pet parent experience.
Kiersten, Regional Manager Oversees operations and standards to keep service consistent and safe.

Every new dog starts with a Meet & Greet before joining daycare, boarding, or spa services. This required assessment allows us to tour you through the facility, show you the playrooms, and make sure your dog is set up for success in our open-play environment.
The Meet & Greet includes a brief health and wellness review, followed by a controlled play session. Your dog is introduced to a small, carefully matched group while our evaluator observes comfort level, play style, and interaction with staff. You are welcome to observe as your dog enters the playroom.
This process helps us place each dog in the right playroom from day one and protects the overall safety and balance of the group.
Dogtopia of Rock Hill is located on Manchester Road just southwest of Clayton, Brentwood Promenade, and Galleria, and east of Warson Woods and Des Peres. We serve families throughout central St. Louis County, including Brentwood, Maplewood, Warson Woods, University City, Clayton, Webster Groves, and Kirkwood.
Our location makes it easy to incorporate daycare or boarding into your regular routine, whether you are commuting, running errands, or working nearby.
To accomplish this, the Dogtopia Foundation funds programs supporting three causes: Service Dogs for Veterans, Therapy Dogs for Students, and Employment Initiatives for Adults with Autism. One hundred percent of donations go directly to the organizations we support.
Through in-store events and treat days, our Ellisville location has set a goal of raising $6,000 at a time. Each time that goal is reached, we partner with K9s For Warriors to sponsor and train a service dog to be paired with a wounded veteran.
We are proud to celebrate the pairing of our most recent service dog, Rocky, with Warrior Mark, a Marine Corps veteran.
