Meet the Team
Jacob Dodd, General Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the dog world, Jacob has dedicated his life to the four-legged community. He joined Dogtopia in October 2025, bringing with him a unique skill set gained from years as a Veterinary Technician and managing other dog care facilities. Basically, Jacob knows the difference between a happy howl and a nervous whine—and he loves using that expertise to make sure every Dogtopia day is the Most Exciting Day Ever for your pup!
Jacob’s biggest love at home is his senior rescue, Stellaluna. A sweet, 12-year-old Cairn Terrier-Chihuahua mix, Jacob has had her since she was six weeks old. Stellaluna keeps him on his toes (and reminds him to slow down!) as she is both blind and diabetic. Her special needs have given Jacob a superpower: infinite patience and a keen eye for subtle changes, ensuring he treats every single Dogtopia dog with the same level of care and attention he gives his favorite girl.
