At Dogtopia, our passion is giving every single dog the best-individualized care with their health, safety, and comfort as our top priority! Our home away from home environment is the perfect place for your pup to learn, play, and socialize with their BFFF (Best Furry Friend Forever).
Meet the Team
Jackie, Owner
Jackie is the proud owner of Dogtopia of Summerville. Jackie’s love for dogs led her to open our location in 2023. When not at Dogtopia, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Charlotte, and her daughter, Zoe.
Shannon, General Manager
Shannon has been part of the doggie daycare industry for over 12 years and is the proud recipient of the 2025 Dogtopia General Manager of the Year award. She is passionate about creating a fun, safe and enriching experience for every dog in her care. Shannon is a mom to her daughter, Evelyn and son, Charlie. They have a Yorkie, Bailey and an American Bully, Nala who love coming to daycare every week! Outside of work she enjoys baking, relaxing at the beach and spending time with her family. Her favorite dog breeds are Shih Tzus and Pitbulls.
Paris, Canine Coach Trainer
Paris has been with us since opening in 2023! Paris is our Canine Coach Trainer, which is our head coach position responsible for training other coaches and keeping our facility safe. She is also a Canine Coach, Rover, and Sales Associate! She has completed her certificate to be a dog trainer and runs obedience classes at Dogtopia.
She also travels the country to assist Dogtopia with new store openings and training new coaches.
She has one dog, Bronco, the Mini Bernedoodle who loves to play in our Toy Box room. Her hobbies include shopping, hanging out with friends, and making Tik Toks. Her favorite breed is the Bernese Mountain Dog.
Heather, Sales Associate & Rover
Heather is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of clinical veterinary experience. She utilizes this background to help support the health, safety, and overall well-being of the daycare pups! She has two children, Juliana and Theodore; two Chihuahuas, Millie and Louie; and two cats named Reese and Pepper. She just recently became a part of Dogtopia’s Canine Behavior Expert Counsel! She enjoys drinking coffee, reading, and fitness. Her favorite breeds are Pitbulls and Chihuahuas.
Avery, Sales Associate, Rover & Canine Coach
Avery has been with us since opening in 2023! She has also trained as a dog trainer and run obedience classes at Dogtopia. She has three dogs, Roxas the Rottweiler, Macy the Great Pyrenees, and Emma the Hound Mix. She also has two cats named Luna and Venelope. She enjoys video games and drawing in her free time. Her favorite breed is the English Bull Terrier.
Sophie, Rover & Canine Coach
Sophie is new to the dog world but her passion for the dogs makes her perfect in her position. She has two Boykin Spaniels, Remington and Mable! Some of her hobbies are running, going to the beach, watching romcoms and writing poetry. Her favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Doodles but she loves all dogs so much, it was hard for her to pick one!
Jayda, Sales Associate, Canine Coach & Rover
Jayda has been working with dogs for several years now and is one of the friendly faces greeting you when you come into Dogtopia! Her favorite breed of dogs is pitbulls. She enjoys playing volleyball, traveling and hanging out with her family. She is an amazing team member and loves spoiling your pups with love!
Chloe, Canine Coach
Meet Chloe! Chloe has been working with us for over a year and is absolutely amazing with all of our dogs. She brings so much care, patience, and positivity to every pup she meets! Her favorite dog breeds are Belgian Malinois and Bernese Mountain Dogs. When she’s not hanging out with our dogs, Chloe enjoys competitive gaming, fishing, and vending at trading card shows. She’s also a fish mom to Neon Tetras and algae eaters!
Elaina, Rover & Canine Coach
We are so excited to have Elaina as part of our Dogtopia family!Her favorite breeds are Bernese Mountain Dogs, Spaniels & any mixed breed! Her hobbies include visual arts and crochet. You may see one of her masterpieces in chalk in our playrooms!
Piper, Rover & Canine Coach
Meet Piper! This is Piper’s first job working with dogs, but you’d never know it, she fits right in and is besties with all of our pups. She also has a talent for capturing the cutest photos of them. Piper has four dogs of her own: Phoebe the Lab mix, Boo the apple-headed Chihuahua, Poppy the Jack Russell Terrier, and Rose the Shepsky. When she’s not at work, she loves playing games, singing, doing fun makeup, and hanging out with her friends.
Ka'lei, Canine Coach & Rover
Meet Ka’lei! Ka’lei has been part of our Dogtopia family for about 9 months and loves spending time with all our furry friends. Her favorite breeds are Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, Pit Bulls, and Golden Retrievers. When she’s not caring for pups, you can find her baking, reading, or playing video games. We’re so happy to have her on our team!
