DOG GROOMER

Dogtopia of Summerville is seeking an experienced groomer to join our team at Summerville’s leading dog daycare, boarding, and full-service spa location.

In addition to great grooming skills, the right candidate is a great culture fit; is positive, fun, and friendly; does whatever it takes to create a memorable experience for our dogs and pet parents; and wants to contribute positively to the team and to the Summerville community.

The right person will:

• have the ability to groom dogs to breed standard, including dematting, shave-downs, pattern clips and hand-scissoring
• be willing and able to discuss specific requests with pet parents
• be comfortable handling dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• possess strong time-management skills and the ability to accurately estimate the length of time needed for a groom
• practice flexibility, patience, and understanding with dogs and people

CANINE COACH

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has immediate openings for reliable, goal-oriented team players who will be responsible for the safety and experience of our canine clients. As the pack leader, this person has the utmost focus on the safe socialization, exercise, and education of dogs in our care.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Comfort with always being “on stage” as all playrooms are equipped with cameras.
• Continuous interaction with dogs of all sizes.
• Care for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family.
• Keep up with extensive training to ensure a safe and fun play environment for each pup.
• Follow rigorous cleaning standards and sanitize playrooms throughout shift.
