Many times have dealt with putting my pup in “timeout” longer than necessary, when the coaches are only intended to put pups in there for 5 minutes.

Often with the seasonal turn over we will end up needing to be very accommodating for the new staff as they transition. It can be frustrating to have to wait 10-15 minutes to get our pup from the room he is in during some peak times. This also goes for some front end staff who will at times change rules. Throughout the years of going here we love certain trainers, without them we would have gone to a different Dogtopia or dog daycare. Unfortunately that list has gone down significantly over the years. With it the quality of the staff has as well. Fixing the turn over at this location would be paramount to increasing the service at this location. From talking to some staff much of their turn over comes from management issues and other compounding factors. I’d speak with your tenured staff about issues they have currently before they start leaving as well.
Flexibility
I wish someone would attend to the dogs overnight like other boarding facilities in the area. I would also like dogs to have places to rest during the day instead of just walking in circles for hours. There are only two small beds in the small dogs area and every time I check the camera they are full and my dog is just sitting on the uncomfortable floor.
The staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. The staff member for our meet and greet was exceptional and made me feel my guy Anders would be in good hands. Clean and well supervised facility. I feel confident my dog will be safe and well cared for.
They are very nice & care about our fur babies.
The Alexandria locatuon is operated by professional, and caring staff who are always helpful and loving toward the dogs.
It is a great comfort to leave our pups in such a welcoming, safe and positive environment.

I love that when we walk through the door – Blooper is the star, I’m just the guy holding the leash. Blooper loves Dogtopia – he arrives happy and leaves happy (and tired). Team members Myia and Blanca make it easy to leave with confidence!
