Parker Dog Boarding

Home sweet home away from home where I can have my own blanket and doggie personal space.

When you board your pup at Dogtopia of Parker, they’ll be treated to a staycation filled with fun, enriching activities. Whether you need to book your dog’s stay only for an overnight visit or for an extended amount of time, your furry family member will enjoy hours of play, exercise, learning and socialization with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) as they have The Most Exciting Day Ever.

how does dog boarding work AT Dogtopia of Parker?

Before you book your dog’s stay, we require them to attend three days of daycare to ensure their safety and comfort in our facility. This helps familiarize them with our space and teaches them you always return to pick them up.

During their boarding stay, they will join our daycare crowd during the day and enjoy full, all-access use of our off-leash, open playrooms to run around and socialize with their like-minded furry friend group. They will also enjoy lunchtime with their playroom pals and take a mid-day snooze to recharge until they’re back to playing again. Activities range from flavored bubble parties and tasty treat days to agility exercises, brain games, and Arts & Crafts days—there’s no room for boredom at Dogtopia of Parker!

We follow a consistent boarding schedule to have pups stick to a routine where they can anticipate their day and find comfort in the familiarity. This looks like:

5:45 a.m. – Boarding dogs are let out for their morning potty

6:00 a.m. – Breakfast, followed by an hour of rest time for safe and healthy digestion

7:00 a.m. – Playtime begins!

12:00 p.m. – Lunch

12:00–2:00 p.m. – Dogs take a nap in their home-style crate while we deep clean and sanitize our playrooms

7:00 p.m. – Dinner

8:00–8:30 p.m. – Final evening potty

8:30 p.m. – Dogs get cozy in their home-style crate and settle in for a full night’s rest

Please note that if your dog requires medication, our team is more than willing to administer this during lunch and/or dinner or during a specified time, as noted by you when booking your pup’s boarding stay.

It wouldn’t be a memorable staycation without five-star sleeping accommodations! Pet parents can choose between our comfortable home-style crates suited to their dog’s size or our luxury suite option, which can be better suited for pups needing more space or staying with a sibling.

We want your furry family member to have a comfortable stay, so we suggest bringing their preferred blanket, non-squeaky toy, or bedding. It will smell like home and add an element of familiarity that they can find comfort in. If your dog has any medical conditions or needs frequent breaks during play, our team is happy to accommodate.

During their boarding stay, you can book treatments at our full-service doggie spa. This is a great way to add some pampering to your pup’s day and have them feeling their best self by the time you pick them up. We offer a range of treatments in our modern facility, including baths, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and more.

TOP BOARDING SERVICES IN PARKER, CO

Since our dogs enjoy daycare during the day, they will play in one of our four separate playrooms, where they’ll interact with their like-minded furry friend group that matches their size, temperament, and playstyle. Small dogs thrive in our Toy Box, medium-sized dogs partake in the playroom fun in our Romper Room, large breeds enjoy the space of our Gym playroom, and our larger senior dogs can feel comfortable in our Lounge playroom.

On sunny days, we have two outdoor play areas that are safe and secure for pups to enjoy. We follow the same precautions as our indoor playrooms and ensure that all dogs stick with their playroom pals; we’ll never mix playgroups during outdoor or indoor play, so pet parents can rest assured their pup is always playing with their familiar furry friends.

Our indoor playrooms are designed with your dog’s needs in mind. Since pups will be on their paws most of the day, we use compressed rubberized flooring much comfier than cement or gravel, which you may see at our competitors. We’ve also separated our playrooms with full, soundproof walls to help prevent any airborne doggie viruses while reducing any distracting noises from pups playing in a nearby playroom.

To keep our playrooms clean, we perform a deep-clean twice a day so that all playroom equipment and surfaces are sanitized. We use dog-safe cleaning products and a safe bio-enzymatic cleaner for spot cleaning. We follow the protocols set by Dogtopia’s very own Environmental Biologist and Veterinary Scientist so pet parents can feel confident that their pups’ health is a priority. As for what we can’t see, we’ve equipped an advanced HVAC system that circulates fresh air into our playrooms, keeping the air climate-controlled and clean.

Our boarding pups are supervised under the watchful eye of our highly trained Canine Coaches, who understand dog behavior and body language. Our coaches organize our daycare activities, which are optimized to create even greater canine citizens, and are also there to help our boarding dogs settle in for the night.

Canine Coaches at Dogtopia of Parker have completed an extensive, multi-part training process designed by a registered Canine Behaviorist. Their passion for dogs, paired with their immense skills, create an environment full of love and care, which all pups deserve.

WATCH YOUR DOG FROM OUR PLAYROOM WEBCAM

We understand that being away from your furry friend is not easy. Here at Dogtopia of Parker, we’ve got you covered with our HD webcams equipped in every playroom. You can watch your pup have a blast from our website or free mobile app. The livestream is only turned off during lunch and naptime (12-2 p.m.) and in the evening/overnight when pups wind down for bed.

OUR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Dogtopia of Parker is your pup’s home away from home while in our care, so we want to ensure that we can provide them with an environment where they’ll thrive. This is why we have our Meet & Greet evaluation before any dog joins our Dogtopia Squad.

During this time, we will perform an overall wellness check and take note of how your dog responds to our staff’s touch, which can provide future guidelines for interacting with your pup. Your dog must be at least 12 weeks old and have an up-to-date vaccination record, including popular doggie vaccines like Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP/DHPP (also known as “distemper/parvo”). Dogs seven months and older must be spayed or neutered. Also, your dog should be in good health and free of any communicable illness in the past 30 days, including ticks or fleas.

After the wellness portion of the assessment is complete, we’ll create a controlled mini-play space where we can observe your pup interacting with like-minded dogs. We will assess how they respond to see if our open-play, off-leash environment suits them. We’ll also check their comfort level in our home-style crate since this is where they’ll spend time napping, eating, and sleeping overnight (if you don’t opt for a suite).

Since you are putting your trust in our team, we want to make sure you feel comfortable in our facility. During the Meet & Greet, we will show you around and answer all your questions; when you feel positive about a space, your pup can pick up on it.
