PREMIER DOG DAYCARE SERVICES AND MORE IN PARKER, COLORADO
Our spacious facility boasts four doggie playrooms, and we assign pups to each one based on their size, temperament, and play style. Our Toybox playroom is for small dog breeds 35 pounds or fewer, our Romper Room is best for mid-sized dogs and large-breed puppies once they reach the required weight minimum, our Gym playroom is ideal for large dogs who have more energetic play styles, and our Lounge is where our older and calmer large dogs can thrive.
To enjoy Colorado’s gorgeous, sun-filled days, we also have a secure outdoor area for pups to play in. Large and medium-sized dogs will relish in our large outdoor yard, while our smaller pups from our Toybox playroom experience the playtime fun in our second, smaller outdoor area. No play groups will be mixed when going outside, and our staff is highly trained to ensure that each dog is playing with their designated friends, making our facility a safe haven for pups and a worry-free experience for pet parents.
During the day, daycare dogs in our off-leash, open-play playrooms take part in a variety of fun, enriching activities. From bacon- and peanut butter-flavored bubble parties to Arts & Crafts days to agility exercises to mind-stimulating brain games designed to strengthen our dogs’ minds and bodies, we have something for every pup to enjoy at Dogtopia of Parker.
Seeking a comfortable home away from home for your pup? Our overnight boarding service is ideal for dogs who need to stay with us for a night or longer. During their stay, our furry guests can enjoy all the activities we offer during the day and then sleep peacefully at night. Pet parents can choose between our comfortable homestyle crates or one of seven luxury suites we have for larger pups or dogs in the same family—something our pet parents may prefer to keep siblings together overnight.
Our full-service spa is the perfect place for your furry family member to enjoy some pampering. Our team of spa experts is trained to provide a variety of treatments to ensure your dog keeps up with their hygiene. Whether it’s an add-on to their daycare or boarding stay or just because, our spa can accommodate dogs of any size and breed.
The services we offer at Dogtopia of Parker include:
SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS AT Dogtopia of Parker
Since we are an indoor doggie facility, we follow strict protocols to ensure our dogs are always playing in clean and safe rooms, and this starts with how we constructed our space. Each playroom is equipped with a specially designed HVAC system that circulates fresh air and provides an optimal playtime temperature to maximize comfort.
Speaking of comfort, we’ve installed compressed rubberized flooring to promote joint health and provide extra care to pups who have arthritis and other joint ailments. This type of material not only promotes paw pad health but also help pups feel comfortable as they play the day away. This type of flooring is easy to clean and doesn’t retain odor, which is ideal for any “in the moment” accidents.
Rather than using the dividers other doggie daycares may opt for, we have separated each playroom with floor-to-ceiling walls to minimize distractions from neighboring rooms and to reduce the risk of airborne viruses. We’ve also installed double-barrier doors to maintain safety and ensure our team controls all entries and exits.
Twice a day, our team deep-cleans our playrooms and sanitizes all surfaces using dog-safe cleaning products and a bio-enzymatic cleaner for spot cleaning. We want our pups to enjoy a hygienic environment, so we follow the protocols created by Dogtopia’s veterinary scientist and environmental biologist. Doggie potty accidents can happen during play, but our team is quick to remove any mess so pups quickly get back to playing.
Dogtopia of Parker has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy PetsTM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, as well as cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy. The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.
Another way we like to create a safe space for pups is through our playroom webcams. All pet parents are given peace of mind thanks to our high-quality livestreams that allow you to watch your dog play while you’re away. Our webcams are accessible through our user-friendly app or any internet-connected computer. The cameras are on during our open hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekend, except during noon to 2 p.m., which is our dogs’ naptime.
EXPERT CANINE COACHES IN COLORADO
Our Canine Coaches care for your dog as if they were their own. Highly trained in dog behavior and body language through a four-part custom curriculum designed by Dogtopia’s registered canine behaviorist, our coaches can detect even the slightest changes in the playroom vibe and act accordingly. Plus, this curriculum has been approved by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, so pet parents can feel secure knowing that our Coaches have been given high-quality training.
Skilled to interact with dogs of any size, breed, age, and play style, our Canine Coaches are fun facilitators. They are there to interact with pups, encourage socialization for those who need help breaking the ice, practice basic training to help dogs become even greater canine citizens, and be a watchful eye in the playroom while your pup is in our care. Over time, our Coaches get to know your furry family member and will provide periodic report cards highlighting how your dog is doing in daycare, including the friends they made during the day. The more your dog attends daycare, the more insight our team can provide.
At Dogtopia of Parker, we take pride in our dedicated and loving team of Canine Coaches who are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for your dog. Their passion for providing top-notch care is evident in everything they do, translating into quality care for your furry friend.
MEET & GREET EVALUATION
All dogs that enjoy our services at Dogtopia of Parker have passed our Meet & Greet—an evaluation that our team enforces to ensure each pup is a good fit in our off-leash, open-play environment.
What goes into this type of evaluation? Our evaluators:
- Perform a wellness check from snout to tail
- Determine how your pup responds to staff touch and interaction
- Assess their comfortability in our homestyle crates, which is where they’ll nap or stay overnight if boarding with us
- Gauge how your dog responds to other furry friends by creating a controlled play space with some like-minded dogs from daycare
- Provide overall observations
During this time, we can show you around our facility and answer any questions you may have about our services. We want this to be a comforting experience for pups and pet parents alike!
Although we never turn dogs away based on their breed, we do have some requirements for your pup to join our Dogtopia Squad. For starters, your dog must be up to date with their vaccines. This includes rabies, Bordetella, and DHLPP/DHPP (also called “distemper/parvo”), and they must be administered at least 48 hours before visiting Dogtopia of Parker. We also recommend pups receive their canine influenza vaccine, but we will let you know if this is a necessary requirement before booking.
We also ask that all dogs who enter our facility be free of any communicable diseases for 30 days. Additionally, all dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and spayed or neutered if they are at least 7 months old.
Our safety precautions begin as soon as you open the door, so on the day of your Meet & Greet, please already have your dog on a leash or slip lead with a collar or harness when you enter our lobby.
You can schedule your dog’s Meet & Greet by filling out our convenient online form.
