To ensure maximum comfort, we separate dogs of different sizes and temperaments into each playroom, but we never turn away dog based on breed. As long as they pass our evaluation, they are free to frolic with us!

Our thorough interview process, which we call our Meet & Greet, allows our qualified staff to meet your pup and make sure they are a good fit for off-leash, open-play daycare. All dogs must also provide proof of vaccination. We try to make our evaluation as easy as possible for our pet parents, while also ensuring the safety of all our canine guests.

Our open-play environment gives your pup total freedom to have fun and explore our safe and supervised playrooms, and we offer both half-day and full-day daycare options. Our certified Canine Coaches are trained to manage and educate dogs of all breeds, and pet parents will receive periodic report cards that highlight your dog’s behavior, who their new furry friends are, and some of our tips on how to replicate our positive educational methods at home.

You can also book a doggie spa treatment to add to your pup’s stay. With a range of spa services to pick from, not only will your pup feel great, but they will go home looking (and smelling) great, too.

A BRAND-NEW DOG CENTER IN FISHKILL

At Dogtopia of Fishkill, you will find three safe and frequently sanitized playrooms: the Toybox for smaller pups, the Romper Room for medium-sized dogs who are more rambunctious, and our Gym for our larger dogs. Each of our playrooms offers rubberized flooring, which is extremely unique to Dogtopia and aids in long-term joint and paw health, as well as being very easy to clean. Also, each playroom is separated by full walls, which can help reduce any noise or distractions that happen during playtime.

We even cover what you can’t see; our climate-controlled HVAC systems in every room keep your dog the perfect temperature during all times of the day and prevents them from overheating. It also keeps the air both our employees and pups breathe fresh and clean. We also do a deep clean of all our playrooms multiple times a day using a pet-friendly, biologically safe cleaner.

To make sure you never feel separated from your dog, Dogtopia of Fishkill has webcams in every playroom, which you can easily access through our website or our free Dogtopia app on your smartphone. Tune in to watch your pup having fun with all their furry friends when you can’t be with them.

Pet parents can rest assured that every dog in our center is supervised by our trusting team of certified Canine Coaches, who are experts at maintaining control of a large group of open-play dogs. They also remain in the playroom at all times during play to ensure a safe environment, actively monitor for all health or behavioral issues, and address issues proactively in a timely and compassionate manner. Our Coaches are skilled at recognizing doggie body language and behavior and know how to effectively handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments while maintaining pack leader status in the room. Regular, supervised socialization with other dogs will help your pup become more comfortable around new dogs and people, stay physically fit and healthy, and learn positive behavior, which leads to less doggie mischief at home.

We are located in the same plaza as Chipotle, Five Guys, Dunkin’, Regal Cinemas, CareMount Medical, Westage Business Center, Sam’s Club and Walmart Super Center. Across the street, you will find Cracker Barrel Old County Store, Red Line Diner, Starbucks, Panera Bread, Jersey Mikes, and Chase Bank.  You can drop your pup off for some safe socialization while you go shopping, watch a movie, grab a meal, run errands, or take in the scenic views of the Hudson Highlands!

We’re less than a mile from Main Street Fishkill, close to well-known neighbourhoods such as Brinckerhoff, Route 52 / Cedar Hill Rd, Matteawan Saint Hospital Rd / Red Schoolhouse Rd, Route 9 / W Merritt Blvd and Village Center. We are also conveniently located near Beacon, Wappingers Falls and Poughkeepsie. Commuters traveling to Vassar Hospital (Nuvance Health), CareMount Medical, the Westage Medical Mall or the Gap Distribution Center can easily drop off their pups on their way to work.

We offer a spacious parking lot with plenty of parking right outside our front door. There is also a Tesla Supercharger Station located in the lot. We’re just a few miles from the Beacon Station and New Hamburg Station.
