At Dogtopia of Katy, our mission is to ensure your furry family member is kept safe and happy while they enjoy the most exciting day ever in our modern, open-play dog center. Designed with their needs in mind, our indoor and outdoor play settings provide the perfect space for your pup to get some exercise while they learn and engage with their new BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever).
Whether your pup stays for a day or several, we follow strict guidelines to make sure every single dog that enters our facility is fully vaccinated and passes our Meet & Greet evaluation. This helps us to ensure your pup will thrive in our off-leash, open-play environment with other dogs who have also been vetted by our Dogtopia experts. We don’t discriminate by breed; any pup that passes our Meet & Greet is welcome to play with us!
To maintain safety and encourage socialization with other dogs, our certified Canine Coaches are there to supervise and interact with all our playing pups. They are experts at maintaining control of a group of dogs of any breed, size, and temperament, and are trained in dog body language, allowing them to address any issues in a timely and compassionate manner. Your pup will develop a strong bond with our coaches and the other dogs in our care, making them excited to spend time with us.

Dogtopia sets the industry standard among doggie daycares, as we offer education, socialization, and exercise paired with personalized care for every pup that enters our facility. We’re the only dog daycare brand with an Environmental Biologist on staff who is constantly evaluating products, policies and procedures. At Dogtopia of Katy, we emphasize quality care and safety, which helps us make sure your furry family members can enjoy a fun yet comfortable environment as they engage with other like-minded pups.
Our brand-new dog care center offers just over 6,200 square feet with three different playrooms, two evaluation rooms, two outdoor areas, a spa, and a break room to store all of the parent-provided meals. Each of our playrooms is climate-controlled, which allows your dog and their furry friends the opportunity to run around and play comfortably – rain or shine. On days when the weather is cooperative, they will also enjoy our outdoor spaces, all while our Canine Coaches are there to supervise and encourage learning. Thanks to this consistent playtime supervision, we can provide our pet parents with occasional report cards that outline your dog’s behavior, the furry friends they are bonding with, and tips to replicate our positive educational methods at home.
Our daycare pups will enjoy up to 10 hours of open play a day, separated into two timeslots: morning play is between 7AM – 12PM and afternoon play (usually after lunch or nap time) is between 2PM – 7PM.
To ensure each of our dogs can comfortably play with their furry friends, we have separate playrooms based on their size, temperament, and playstyle. Our “Toy Box” is for our smaller pups and for some of our dogs with special needs; for large and athletic dogs, we have the “Gym”; and for those that fall somewhere in between, we have our “Romper Room.” This not only makes things more comfortable for our daycare dogs, but our Canine Coaches can better get to know your pup and their playtime preferences.
Pet parents have the option of half-day or full-day daycare options, in addition to overnight boarding packages. This is an ideal solution when you’re away on vacation, on a work trip, or just need a dog-free home for a bit. We also have a doggie spa with a range of services your pup will love, all of which can be added to their daycare or boarding stay. That way you can have them looking fresh and feeling like a million bones by the time you pick them up.

STATE-OF-THE-ART DOG CARE center IN KATY, TEXAS
We follow the strict safety guidelines put forth by Dogtopia, which means we have taken every precaution possible to provide a worry-free space for our pups and their parents. Each of our playrooms includes HVAC systems to keep the air fresh and clean, along with UV lighting to help keep bacteria at bay. We also perform multiple deep cleans each day using a pet-friendly, biologically safe cleaner, in addition to a safe spot cleaner for those “in the moment” mishaps. The compressed rubber flooring in our indoor playrooms also helps to keep the space clean, while at the same time aiding in the long-term joint and paw health of your pup.
We have webcams in each of our playrooms, allowing pet parents to see their furry family member in action playing with the other dogs, engaging in one of our learning exercises, or interacting with our certified Canine Coaches. You can find the privately accessible webcam stream via our free Dogtopia app or on our website. You can also use our app to easily book appointments.
In our main lobby, we house a treat machine, menu boards featuring our “Dog of the Week,” and announcements about upcoming events, along with camera views of all our playrooms.
Dogtopia of Katy has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy PetsTM facility. The Heroes for Healthy PetsTM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.
The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.
