Meet the Team
Alaina, Regional Manager
Victoria, General Manager
I have been with Dogtopia of Meridian North since 2020, and in the dog daycare industry since 2017! In addition to being the General Manager of Meridian North, I am also a Canine Coach Trainer for Dogtopia Support Office- which means I travel the country to help new Dogtopia locations open with a well-trained and prepared team ready to give every pup the most exciting day ever! I currently have one Golden Retriever named Harlan and one American bobtail cat named Nyar. When I’m not working at Dogtopia, I spend time doing my hobbies like taxidermy or D&D! I look forward to working with Dogtopia for many, many years!
Amanda, Back of House Shift Lead
I started working for Dogtopia of Meridian North in 2020 and have always had a love for animals. Previously, I was a dog walker and also worked in undergraduate research at IU Indianapolis. During that time, I realized my passion for working with dogs and decided to build a career caring for animals. At home I have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and 3 cats who keep me busy!
Kelsey, Front of House Shift Lead
My passion for dogs inspired me to join Dogtopia and make a positive career change. I love the relationships I get to build with our dogs and their pet parents through daycare and fun events. I am currently working toward a future certification in positive reinforcement dog training through the Paws and Think organization. Before working with dogs, I supported children with autism at an outpatient clinic. When I’m not at Dogtopia, you can usually find me caring for my 9 chickens or working on a Lego set (specifically the plants or art sets).
Michelle, Head Rover
I’ve spent the last eight years helping my mom run an in-home daycare and overnight boarding business, which inspired me to pursue a career at Dogtopia of Meridian North! Growing up, I also took the initiative to start dog walking and pet sitting locally, which helped strengthen my love for working with dogs. When I found out a Dogtopia had opened in Indianapolis, I knew I needed to apply! Before working here, I spent five years in a before-and-after-school childcare program within the Center Grove Community School Corporation. A fun fact about me is that I have two fine arts degrees!
Jon, Rover
Spending a lot of time around my grandparents’ dogs growing up is what first sparked my love for dogs. I always thought having a job where I could work and play with dogs would be awesome, so when I came across Dogtopia’s job listing, applying felt like an easy decision. Before joining the Dogtopia of Meridian North team, I only had a general idea of what doggy daycare was, but the role sounded exactly like the kind of work I had been looking for. Prior to my time here, I worked as a security guard at a distribution plant for a major clothing retailer. In my free time, I enjoy drawing all kinds of different things and being creative whenever I can.
Clay, Rover
I’ve always been passionate about working with dogs, but what truly drew me to Dogtopia of Meridian North was the company’s positive culture and involvement in charity events and community support. Before joining Dogtopia, I worked as a freelance dog sitter, which gave me valuable experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. A goal of mine is to train my dog, Harvest, to compete in agility courses!
Jane, Rover
Dogtopia was something completely new for me! I had never worked with dogs before, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Before I knew it, three years had passed, and now I’m pursuing a career in dog behavior. Dogtopia truly changed my life. Before that, I was jumping from job to job without any real direction, just doing enough to make ends meet. I found myself stuck in the food industry, but nothing ever motivated me to grow, improve myself, or pursue excellence. That didn’t change until I started working with dogs. Fun fact eh? I can speak (and sign!) 3 languages. English, Vietnamese, and American Sign Language! 4 if you count dog! 😊
Marcela, Rover
I’m proud to work for a dog daycare that truly cares about dogs! They practice positive reinforcement, which is incredibly important for a dog’s overall well-being and happiness. My experience of studying dog training through Escuela Canina Selva in Argentina, and working as a dog walker helped deepen my understanding of dog behavior and strengthened my passion for working with animals. Outside of work, I really enjoy doing crafts, especially making little dogs out of pipe cleaners!
Miki, Rover
I’ve always had a love for animals and had many different family dogs growing up. Before Dogtopia, I worked in the restaurant industry for years and also a third shift stocking shelves. I was ready for a change and wanted to do something more fulfilling that I really enjoyed, like caring for animals! A fun fact about me that many people don’t know is that I have a collection of over twenty different nutcrackers and I get a new one for Christmas every year.
Izzy, Bather & Canine Coach Level 3
It’s been such a rewarding experience learning about each dog’s personality, body language, and unique behaviors through my time working in a Dogtopia daycare. I’ve really loved getting to know the entire team here at Meridian North, and of course all of the dogs! I always love meeting new dogs during Meet & Greet’s and seeing all of the familiar furry faces every day. Before coming to Dogtopia, I volunteered at Robin’s Nest of Indy, where I worked at a cat shelter. I also attended Same As U, a college-style program. Outside of work, I enjoy shopping, doing crafts, going for walks, and relaxing outside while listening to nature.
Stacia, Canine Coach Level 3
What interested me in Dogtopia was the opportunity to work one-on-one with dogs while learning to better understand their behavior and the way they experience the world. Before joining Dogtopia of Meridian North, I worked with children from 2018 to 2024. I also attended vet tech school because I knew I wanted a career working with animals, especially dogs. Although that path didn’t work out the way I originally planned, it eventually led me here, where I now have the opportunity to do what I love. A fun fact about me is that I keep a book with the names of every pet I’ve ever had. Throughout my life, I’ve had 18 dogs, 7 cats, 1 bird, 1 turtle, and 12 fish!
Duke, Canine Coach Level 3
Dogtopia has given me an opportunity to work with dogs and help make their days better. Before my role here, I worked in towing and a few other jobs, but nothing that really felt like the right fit long-term. While I don’t have previous professional dog-handling experience, I’ve owned and cared for many dogs throughout my life, which gave me a strong personal understanding of them. Outside of work, I enjoy working out as a hobby.
Gigi, Pet Parent Concierge
My love for animals is what led me to a career at Dogtopia of Meridian North. The idea of getting to spend time with and care for so many amazing daycare dogs had me applying right away! While I don’t have prior dog-handling experience, I do have experience working in human daycare and honestly, it’s a lot more similar than I expected! I’m a very creative person, so I enjoy writing, drawing, and reading in my free time. Fun fact: I have a 17-year-old Chihuahua named Tazer. 🙂
Chloe, Pet Parent Concierge
Before Dogtopia, I worked in emergency healthcare services as an administrative secretary for several hospitals. I was feeling burnt out in healthcare and wanted a change. I’ve always adored dogs, and Dogtopia felt like the perfect opportunity to step into something new while doing something I genuinely care about. A fun fact about me is that I’m a huge gaming nerd, and I was born without wisdom teeth!
Lexi, Pet Parent Concierge
My love for animals is what initially got me interested in working at a doggie daycare. Before joining Dogtopia, I worked in multiple customer service roles which made me a great fit for the front desk! One fun fact about me is that I want to go to college to pursue a career working with animals.
Evyn, Pet Parent Concierge
The Dogtopia of Merdian North team shows genuine care and love for every dog, which is what first attracted me to working here. I graduated from Purdue University in May 2025, and having grown up with dogs my whole life, working with them has always felt natural to me. A fun fact about me is that I’m scuba diving certified!
