Your dog’s safety is a top priority at Milwaukee East Side, which is why our certified Canine Coaches are in the playrooms with them, supervising all the fun. Your pup will be surrounded by furry friends of a similar size, temperament and play style, who are all fully vaccinated and have passed our Meet & Greet evaluation. They will learn valuable skills, including how to behave around humans and other dogs, how to act in other social scenarios like at the dog park or when people come over to visit, and how to grow confidence and resilience. Regular daycare at Dogtopia leads to better behaved, happier and healthier canine citizens!
Our daycare activities often include fun photoshoots, bacon-flavored bubbles, and themed days. We provide pet parents with half-day or full-day daycare, but that time doesn’t have to be entirely spent in our off-leash, open-play environment. If your pup needs a spa day, we also offer a range of spa services as a part of our daycare and boarding packages. When you pick up your dog at the end of the day, they will be a clean, perfectly happy and played-out pup.

Our brand-new 6200 sq ft. facility located on Milwaukee’s East Side sets the standard for safety, cleanliness and fun that is unmatched by our competitors. All our cleaning products are 100% pet-safe and don’t contain a single drop of bleach; you’d be surprised to find out what cleaning products other daycare facilities use! All our playrooms have rubberized floors to promote canine joint health. They have more grip to reduce slipping, are easy to sanitize, and are safer than the concrete floors used by many of our competitors. Each of our playrooms is fully equipped with its own HVAC and UV light systems that keep fresh air flowing through the room and help eliminate any airborne bacteria or viruses.
At Dogtopia of Milwaukee East Side, we believe in supporting our local business community. We offer an amazing Perks for Pups program in which we partner with other local small businesses to offer additional perks for our pet parents and their pups.
Dogtopia of Milwaukee East Side has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy PetsTM facility. The Heroes for Healthy PetsTM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.
The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

We know leaving your dog, especially for the first time, can be a bit stressful for any pet parent. That’s why each playroom at our location is equipped with live webcams. These let our pet parents sneak a peek at what their pup is up to, and are easily accessible via our website or our free mobile app.

Owner Julie Barnes and her team are happy to welcome you to our brand new Dogtopia location in Milwaukee East Side. You can find us at 2219 N Farwell Ave., next to Von Trier and across from the Oriental Theater.
There is on-street parking, as well as private and public parking lots throughout the neighborhood; please pay attention to parking signs and meters near the location. If you are taking transit, we are located right on the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus line.
We proudly serve pet parents who live in the neighborhoods of The Milwaukee Metropolitan Area, The East Side, Murray Hill Neighborhood, Historic Water Tower Neighborhood, Brewer’s Hill, East Town, Bayview, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Walker’s Point, Wauwatosa, and The Third Ward.
Are you a college student? You can drop your dog off before classes! We’re close to UWM, MATC, MIAD, Marquette University, and MSOE. If you are a teacher at MPS, Marquette University High School/DSHA, Milwaukee Montessori School, Tamarack Waldorf, Maryland Montessori School we are also a short drive! We offer a discount on to teachers for our daycare and spa services. Contact us for details!
We are also near several healthcare facilities, including Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital. Let us care for your pup while you care for your loved ones. Also, employees from Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s, CHW, and Froedtert Hospital can enjoy early check-in (6:00 AM) and late checkout (8:00 PM) for their pup’s daycare stay at no extra charge. All health care professionals will receive 10% off daycare and spa services. It’s our way of saying thank you to our community’s doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers!
