SAFETY COMES FIRST

Our brand-new 6200 sq ft. dog care center includes four playrooms (The Toy Box, The Junior High, The Romper Room and The Gym). Each playroom is designed for dogs of different sizes and play styles, which helps to keep all dogs safe and happy to ensure a positive experience for all. Our team of certified Canine Coaches carefully supervises playtime to ensure everyone is having a safe and fun experience. These highly trained coaches offer hands-on interactions and pay close attention to the dynamics in the room, using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.

Each playroom is climate-controlled, so no matter the weather outside, your dog will be comfortable and content. We also have rubberized floors in each playroom to promote canine joint health and they are much safer than concrete floors that you might often see in other dog daycares.

Safety is a top priority for us at Milwaukee East Side, which is why all of our cleaning products are 100% pet-safe, which we use for spot cleaning and also to sanitize our playrooms top to bottom twice daily. We even cover what you can’t see: each playroom is fully equipped with its own HVAC and UV light systems that keep fresh air flowing, help eliminate any airborne bacteria, and maintain the perfect temperature during play time and nap time.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all our canine guests, we ask all new dogs to attend a Meet & Greet session before their first day of daycare. A trained evaluator will perform a wellness check and determine your pup’s comfort level with our staff, our homestyle crates used for nap time, and our open play environment. This will give your dog a chance to get used to our facility with you close by before their first day.

LIVE WEBCAM ACCESS

Spending time away from your furry family member can take some getting used to! That’s why we have set up live webcams in each playroom with private access for our pet parents. You can take a peek throughout your day at all the fun activities your dog is up to on our webcams, which you can access through our website or free mobile app.

Milwaukee East Side owner Julie Barnes welcomes you and your pup to our brand-new location! You can find us at 2219 N Farwell Ave., next to Von Trier and across from the Oriental Theater. We proudly serve pet parents from the following neighborhoods and beyond: The Milwaukee Metropolitan Area, The East Side, Murray Hill Neighborhood, Historic Water Tower Neighborhood, Brewer’s Hill, East Town, Bayview, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Walker’s Point, Wauwatosa, West Allis and The Third Ward.

On-street parking as well as private and public parking lots are available, with structures throughout the neighborhood. Please pay close attention to parking signs and meters near our facility. You can also access our location via the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus line.

We offer teachers a discount on daycare and spa services. Students at UWM, MATC, MIAD, Marquette University, or MSOE can easily drop off their pup at our daycare when they’re in school.

If you are heading to one of our nearby healthcare facilities, including Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, we can take care of your pup while you’re at your appointment or visiting loved ones. Also, health care professionals can enjoy early check-in (6:00 AM) and late checkout (8:00 PM) for their pup’s daycare stay at no extra charge. It’s our way of showing appreciation to our community’s doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers! We also offer 10% off daycare and boarding services to active or retired military personnel.
