If you are planning on booking one or more overnight stays for your pup here at Dogtopia of Roseville, consider it a staycation! To ensure your furry family member rates their stay five out of five bones, our boarding pups enjoy 10 to 12 hours of off-leash, open-play at our daycare during the day, where they will have the most exciting day ever with their new BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever), and then enjoy a restful night’s sleep.
SAFE DOG BOARDING IN ROSEVILLE, MN
There are two types of boarding options here are Dogtopia of Roseville: standard homestyle crates and semi-private suites. Most of our boarding dogs stay in home-style crates at night that are placed in the same playrooms where they played during the day. This gives them a sense of familiarity in their surroundings and allows them to rest near the furry friends they played with during the day. But for pet parents with larger dogs or multiple furry family members, our semi-private suites are a great option so that pups can spend the night together, just like they would at home.
To ensure maximum comfort, we recommend that you bring your pup’s bedding or food to make the transition from home to boarding as smooth as possible. Having those reminders will make the overnight boarding experience more enjoyable and comfortable. We also request that you bring your pup by our facility to let them enjoy at least three days of daycare prior to boarding. That way, they can acclimate to their new surroundings and get to know our staff before their extended stay.
Curious what a typical boarding stay looks like for our dogs? From opening hours until noon, your pup will safely socialize with their new furry friends in our off-leash, open-play daycare environment. Each of our playrooms is designed based on your dog’s size, breed, and play style to ensure maximum comfort. Then from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, our pups have a bit of “me time” when they can take a well-deserved nap, and our lunch-eating pups can enjoy their food and digest it completely before they play again. From 2:00 PM onward, your pup will get to play again in our playrooms, and will then settle in for a restful night.
Our expertly trained Canine Coaches supervise playtime to make sure our pups are not experiencing separation anxiety, and stay in close contact with pet parents with email and photo updates. Our coaches are schooled in dog body language and behavior, so you can rest assured that our pack is in good hands.
TOP SAFETY STANDARDS IN DOG BOARDING
Our brand-new facility offers three indoor playrooms and a large outdoor play area, so no matter the weather outside, your pup’s got options. To make sure each of our dogs can comfortably learn and play with others while engaging in fun exercises and games, we have separate indoor playrooms to accommodate the different types of dogs that enter through our doors.
Our “Toy Box” playroom is perfect for small dogs and those with special needs. It is also designed to look like a park – talk about a familiar setting! Our “Romper Room” is ideal for medium-sized dogs with a bit more energy, which we made look like a city. Lastly, our “Gym” playroom is best for our large dogs who are on the athletic side, and to keep the mood mellow and tranquil, we designed the room to look like a day at the beach.
Each playroom is equipped with a state-of-the-art HVAC system that helps keep the temperature ideal for playing and napping, while also circulating fresh, clean air. Each playroom is also decked out with compressed rubber flooring, perfect for your dog’s long-term joint and paw health. In our efforts to keep all things sanitized, our team conducts multiple deep cleans in each playroom throughout the day with our biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner, and also uses a safe and natural spot cleaner for those unavoidable mishaps.
Before entering our facility, each Dogtopia of Roseville pup must pass our nose-to-tail assessment, which we call our Meet & Greet. This helps reassure both our staff and all pet parents that all our dogs, no matter the breed, will thrive in our open-play, off-leash environment. Factors like your dog’s response to touch, playroom interactions, and their comfort level in a crate are all considered.
In addition to passing our assessment, we require that your dog is at least 12 weeks old, spayed or neutered after seven months old, and are up to date on their vaccines (i.e., Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella).
ADD A SPA SERVICE TO THEIR STAY
In true staycation fashion, treat your pup to a spa day while they board with us. We offer a variety of spa treatments, such as teeth brush, nail trimming, and ear cleaning, as well as spa packages that can combine services. By the time you pick them up, they will look like a million bones! Please note: If you are boarding more 5 or more nights an exit spa is required and will be added to your boarding stay.
CHECK IN WITH OUR WEBCAMS
We know that any amount of time away from your dog can be difficult, which is why we have installed webcams in each playroom. Check in on your dog during playtime through our private stream that you can access on our website or app – it’s the cutest thing you’ll watch all day!
