Scooter and I are always greeted with a smile when we arrive which is so very important to me. The facility is clean, never a smell that many doggy daycare’s often have. On the first visit, staff will tour customers throughout the facility, explaining where their pup will be cared for. Customers love watching their “babies” on the webcam and it’s wonderful seeing the employees interact with the pups – and ensuring all are playing nicely together! The pups are segregated into large and small rooms for safety and have time for both indoor play with various climbing toys in addition to a spacious, enclosed outdoor area for sunny days that is equipped with a doggy pool. Each day brings a new activity such as bubble time, “tunnels” to climb through, “follow the leader,” and other stimulating social fun – their days provide more of a social life than mine! All I need to say is “do you want to go to play group?” and he runs to the car; he’s made so many “friends” and from watching the webcam, I know who his best buddies are.

Scooter has attended other area daycares where I’ve wondered what goes on behind “closed doors,” and I’m simply handed his leash upon pick-up with no idea how his day went.

I highly recommend Dogtopia at the Shire, and take advantage of the 1st free visit. You won’t be disappointed – and enjoy a very good sleep that night!

The staff makes sure that both me and my dog feel like he is the #1 dog there. I feel confident dropping him off, knowing he’s going to have a great day where he is loved and taken care of.
