Dogtopia of Sacramento - Nimbus Winery is proud to be part of one of Rancho Cordova’s most historic areas. Nimbus Winery is a historical property in Rancho Cordova with origins dating back to the Gold Rush Era. The site was originally developed as a winery during the gold rush, but when gold was discovered nearby, the entire acreage was dredged. The area is now home to the Nimbus Flat State Recreation Area, Nimbus Overlook State Park, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, Willow Creek Recreation Area, Folsom Point State Park, Mississippi Bar Nature Preserve, Sacramento State Aquatic Center, and Lake Natoma.

With plenty of parking and across the street from the Hazel light rail station, our convenient location makes it easy for pet parents to incorporate daycare, boarding, or spa visits into their routine while enjoying everything the surrounding community has to offer. OUR PURPOSE-BUILT, STATE-OF-THE-ART DOG FACILITY

Every part of our facility has been carefully designed with dogs in mind to provide a safe, structured, and enriching environment. Our facility currently spans approx. 7,200 square feet and has been thoughtfully planned to support three dedicated indoor playrooms and an outdoor play area, providing dogs a change of scenery without compromising safety or cleanliness.

Dogtopia of Sacramento – Nimbus Winery has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

Our layout also includes a welcoming lobby, spa and grooming area, evaluation rooms, staff break room, storage, and efficient circulation paths that keep dogs moving safely through the building. SCHEDULING YOUR VISIT TO OUR FACILITY

If you want to schedule your dog for daycare, boarding, or spa services, please contact us to arrange a time and date. Before you bring your dog for daycare or an overnight stay, we ask that you bring them in for a Meet & Greet with our staff. This will include vaccination confirmation, a review of your dog’s history and health, nose-to-tail assessment, and an evaluation of your dog in our open-play environment.
