WHAT DOES A TYPICAL OVERNIGHT STAY LOOK LIKE?

A predictable routine helps dogs feel comfortable, especially when they’re away from home. We offer a range of boarding options to ensure every dog enjoys comfort, no matter the budget.

Our boarding dogs have a fixed schedule. Your dog’s day at our facility includes:

• Starting their day at 7 a.m. with breakfast in bed before heading out to the playroom for a few hours
• Supervised playtime with their friends in their dedicated playroom
• Lunch followed by a midday nap
• Afternoon play and enrichment activities now that they’re feeling recharged
• Dinner at 5 p.m.
• Evening playtime after daycare dogs have gone home
• A calm, comfortable bedtime after a full day of activity

Boarding dogs get plenty of physical activity so by the end of the day, they are tired and ready to call it a night.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BOARDING AT OUR FACILITY

We want every dog boarding guest to feel comfortable and right at home during their stay. To help make that happen, there are a couple of things to know before their first overnight visit.

BOOKING DAYCARE VISITS BEFORE AN OVERNIGHT STAY

Before boarding, all dogs must complete a minimum of three daycare visits, which gives your pup an opportunity to become familiar with our Canine Coaches, playrooms, daily routine, and fellow doggie friends before spending the night.

When boarding day arrives, they will already recognize their surroundings, helping to make for a calmer experience.

EVERY DOG STARTS WITH A MEET & GREET

All first-time guests at our facility must pass our Meet & Greet evaluation to make sure they are comfortable in an indoor, open-play environment. During this time, our team will review your dog’s health history and vaccination status, observe their play style and behavior, and introduce them to a carefully selected group of dogs. It is also a great opportunity for you to tour our facility and ask any questions.

DOGTOPIA’S EXPERTLY CRAFTED BOARDING REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN SAFETY

To help keep every guest healthy and safe, all dogs must be:

• At least 12 weeks old
• Spayed or neutered if seven months of age or older
• Up to date on required vaccinations, including Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP/DHPP
• Free from contagious illnesses, fleas, and ticks
• Comfortable in an open-play environment and show no signs of aggressive behavior

WHAT TO BRING

To help your dog maintain their normal routine, we recommend bringing:

• Their regular food, if preferred
• Any medications with clear instructions
• Feeding instructions or any important care notes

ADD DOG GROOMING TO YOUR PUP’S VISIT

When your dog is staying with us, why not pamper them?

We offer spa packages as part of our overnight and weekend boarding packages. Your pampered pup will be clean, clipped, and groomed when you pick them up. You can also book separate spa appointments.

Beyond baths, we also offer dog spa treatments such as teeth brushing, ear cleaning, massage, and facial treatments. Your dog will be relaxed and clean after their boarding stay.
