Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, individual to run our grooming area. This person should love dogs!

Looking for a chance to run your own business!! We are seeking a motivated, hard-working pet groomer to offer grooming services to compliment our day care service. Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ year experience as a pet groomer or stylist, have knowledge of breed standards, excellent scissoring techniques and the ability to handle small and large dogs. Flexible hours and negotiable employment/salary structure as this is a new growing business.

Ideal candidates should be able to professionally perform grooming services including brushing, bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, expression of anal glands, & trimming nails. Follow owner’s instructions and/or Breed Profiles/Standards when clipping or trimming an animal’s coat. Ensure the safety and well-being of animals.

Utilize grooming equipment and tools including clippers and shears.
Provide courteous service to all customers.
Manage schedule and Appointments
Interest in animal welfare.
Assist with building the grooming business (ie: reminder calls, greet customers upon arrival, etc).
Ensure grooming salon cleanliness, perform routine housekeeping to maintain appearance of the grooming salon.
Ability to set own hours
Assist with Canine Coach responsibilities, as time permits
