Meet the Team

Jackie & Marc, Owners

Jackie and Marc are the proud owners of Dogtopia of Summerville. Jackie’s love for dogs and Marc’s experience in franchise ownership led them to open our location in 2023. They have three rescue dogs: Madi, the Cairn Terrier; Harvey, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Katie, the hound mix. They also own three Eggs Up Grill locations in Summerville, Bomb Bar Smoothies in West Ashely and Nexton, and Garage Experts. Outside of work, they enjoy going to the gym and traveling.

Heather, General Manager

Heather is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of clinical veterinary experience. She utilizes this background to help support the health, safety, and overall well-being of the daycare pups! She has two children, Juliana and Theodore; two Chihuahuas, Millie and Louie; and two cats named Reese and Pepper. She just recently became a part of Dogtopia’s Canine Behavior Expert Counsel! She enjoys drinking coffee, reading, and fitness. Her favorite breeds are Pitbulls and Chihuahuas.

Alexis, Parent Relationship Manager

Alexis has been with us since opening in 2023! She loves all dogs, but especially Golden Retrievers and Bernese Mountain dogs. She has a pup of her own, Millie, the Jack Russel mix who loves to come to work with her. Alexis is not only our Parent Relationship Manager but also has been a Canine Coach Trainer and Sales Associate! Her hobbies include playing instruments, going on the boat, and watching Love Island.

Paris, Canine Coach Trainer

Paris has been with us since opening in 2023! Paris is not only our Canine Coach Trainer but also a Canine Coach, Rover, and Sales Associate! She also just completed her certificate to be a dog trainer and will be starting training classes at Dogtopia. She has one dog, Bronco, the Mini Bernedoodle who loves to play in our Toy Box room. Her hobbies include shopping, hanging out with friends, and making Tiktoks. Her favorite breed is the Bernese Mountain Dog.

Nya, Sales Associate, Rover & Canine Coach

Nya has been with us since opening in 2023! She has two dogs, Brownie, the mixed breed and Danny, the Great Pyrenees. She also has four snakes: Viper, Sandstorm, Noodle, and Enchii. She enjoys playing video games and reading. Her favorite breed is the German Shepard.

Avery, Sales Associate, Rover & Canine Coach

Avery has been with us since opening in 2023! She has two dogs, Roxas the Rottweiler and Macy the Great Pyrenees. She also has two cats named Luna and Venelope. She enjoys video games and drawing in her free time. Her favorite breed is the English Bull Terrier.

Victor, Groomer

Victor has many years of grooming experience and will make your pup look & feel their best! He has three dogs, Spiderbite, Ripper & Bowie. He enjoys drawing, hiking and taking care of plants!

Sydney, Rover & Canine Coach

Sydney is newer to the dog world, but absolutely loves getting to meet every dog that walks through our doors. She has a Shih Tzu name Sharkey who loves to come to work with her. She enjoys going to the beach, gardening, and arts and crafts. Her favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Pitbulls.

Sophie, Rover & Canine Coach

Sophie is new to the dog world but her passion for the dogs makes her perfect in her position. She has two Boykin Spaniels, Remington and Mable! Some of her hobbies are running, going to the beach, watching romcoms and writing poetry. Her favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Doodles but she loves all dogs so much, it was hard for her to pick one!

Chloe, Canine Coach

Meet Chloe! Chloe has been working with us for over a year and is absolutely amazing with all of our dogs. She brings so much care, patience, and positivity to every pup she meets! Her favorite dog breeds are Belgian Malinois and Bernese Mountain Dogs. When she’s not hanging out with our dogs, Chloe enjoys competitive gaming, fishing, and vending at trading card shows. She’s also a fish mom to Neon Tetras and algae eaters!

Piper, Rover & Canine Coach

Meet Piper! This is Piper’s first job working with dogs, but you’d never know it, she fits right in and is besties with all of our pups. She also has a talent for capturing the cutest photos of them. Piper has four dogs of her own: Phoebe the Lab mix, Boo the apple-headed Chihuahua, Poppy the Jack Russell Terrier, and Rose the Shepsky. When she’s not at work, she loves playing games, singing, doing fun makeup, and hanging out with her friends.

Mya, Canine Coach

Meet Mya! She has a soft spot for pitbulls and silver labs and brings that same love into everything she does with our pups. When she’s not in the playroom, Mya enjoys drawing, listening to music, and spending quality time hanging out with her son. She’s also a proud dog mom to Ariyah Jean, her sweet silver lab who has her whole heart.

Lisi, Sales Associate & Canine Coach

Lisi may be newer to the dog world, but she is absolutely killing it here at Dogtopia! She brings great energy, a positive attitude, and so much love to every pup she works with. Her favorite breeds are Great Danes, Dobermans, and Spaniels. Outside of Dogtopia, Lisi loves hiking with her dogs, going shopping, and spending time at the lake. She’s a proud dog mom to Cooper, a Lab mix, and Molly, a Dachshund and Boykin mix.
