We love dogtopia for our girls. We were disappointed to hear that corporate came through and insisted that all the nice decorations and pictures be taken down. What a shame! It’s so sterile now, cookie-cutter, without the personality of the team showing through. We dont’ go to any Dogtopia, we go to our neighborhood Dogtopia, and feeling like a community rather than a number is so vital. Seeing the pics of the dogs especially; it was such a comfort knowing how much the team *cared* about all the dogs.

Let’s keep those decorations please!

I like that the hours are convenient. There is flexibility in scheduling. The staff are friendly and relaxed. It is nice to be able to view my pet on the camera.

I know that the dogs will be stinky when they come home but man it’s been 2 days and they still smell. It’s tough for us to bathe them so not sure if they were or could be sprayed with a little fur refresher/deodorizer before they leave

I love that you have a webcam for me to keep an eye on my dog. I get to monitor how you treat my fur baby and I from what I’ve seen I approve.

I feel like me having brought my dog to your place helped her to develop good dog social skills. This then made her very comfortable hanging out with a bunch of other dogs. This then made your place the best place for boarding her. I believe your place is better and less expensive than hiring a dog sitter because a dog sitter can’t entertain my dog better than a bunch of other well socialized dogs. Your place is definitely way better than the typical dog boarding places that mostly keep your dog isolated with limited walks and play time.

The staff is great. They do tons of fun activities for the pups and for the parents and my boy just loves his playtime days!

The team at Dogtopia of Wilmington, including all staff and coaches, is truly amazing. They’re incredibly friendly to both dogs and their owners and show remarkable creativity, especially with the charming decorations and photos of the dogs in the reception area. It created a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, so it’s sad that they needed to take the decorations away.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. we go to Dogtopia of Wilmington twice a week. My dog – Luke always jump high and low when I ask him ” Do you want to go to Dogtopia now?” Luke is so happy to see everybody in the Dogtopic bacause he knows he will have a wonderful time there. Everyone is professional I will give them 10 stars.

I hope they will put back the dog pictures on the wall. The front room looked so great with the decorations. But they just clear everything down last week. Before, I always felt I was talking my Luck to Dogtopia school and see his teachers and friends. But now, the front room just looks like a boring post office with empty walls. We really like the theme before…. Hope they will change it back. 🙂

Everything has been removed from the lobby area, causing it to look boring and unprofessional. There used to be a board outlining all the special activities each month. I enjoyed that, especially the picture days, and would often plan my choice of daycare days around those activities. The lobby used to be full of cute pictures of the dogs, all have been removed and it is much less welcoming. This has all been a very unwelcome change.
