We are excited to meet you and your pup for your Orientation/Meet & Greet! At Dogtopia, we are focused on health and safety as well as ensuring all dogs are comfortable in our open-play environment. For daycare and boarding, all dogs are separated into playrooms by size and temperament where they can enjoy hours of safe socialization, exercise, education and FUN. They’re supervised by our highly trained Canine Coaches and you can check in on them throughout the day via our live webcams!

  • What is a Orientation/Meet & Greet and why do I need one?

While we love all breeds and personalities, not every dog is suited for an off-leash, open-play environment. We take our doggie guests’ safety very seriously, so each Meet & Greet/Orientation consists of 20-30 minutes with our trained evaluator to ensure that your pup is a good fit for daycare. It will include a health history overview, a nose-to-tail assessment, and an evaluation of their comfort level with other dogs in a controlled mini-play area. We also require 2 additional days of daycare prior as part of the Orientation process for a total of 3 days. The process is very easy and ensures all dogs are comfortable at Dogtopia – we look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member better! Please note: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age AND current on required vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/DHPP, Canine Influenza and Bordetella). Dogs older than 7 months must be spayed or neutered.

Dogtopia requirements:

  • All Dogs/Puppies up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/DHPP, Canine Influenza, and Bordetella) – don’t have your records? We can call your vet for you!
  • New pet parents do have 30 days from successfully passing the Meet & Greet to obtain the Canine Influenza Vaccine and be fully immunized. The first round of CIV must be administered before we can do the Meet & Greet.
  • Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old AND fully vaccinated
  • Dogs 7 months and older must be spayed/neutered

*Dogtopia highly recommends all new overnight boarding pups have some daycare days prior to their first overnight stay with us to ensure their comfort during the stay and meet all their new human and furry friends ahead of time.

Meet & Greet/ORIENTATION – $39

Once your initial Meet & Greet/Orientation appointment is set and confirmed by our team, you will receive an email to log in to your online dashboard and begin the registration process. Vaccinations can be uploaded by you or our team and you can review and digitally sign our Pet Parent Agreement.

Our orientation is a 3-day process and we use these 3 days to mirror an average week so that your pup gets acclimated to the socialization and exercise that comes with daycare. • Day 1: The Meet & Greet includes 3+ hours of play for your pup as well as a tour of the facility for you. Appointments available Weekdays from 7 AM – 11 AM and 2 PM -5 PM and Weekends from 9 AM -11 AM and 2 PM.
  • Day 2 & 3: Your pup attends two additional daycare days within week (7 days) to become fully comfortable with our environment. All three days are prerequisites for any future boarding stay.

To secure your spot, kindly pre-pay the $39 for Orientation here at least 2 two days before your scheduled appointment.

After identifying the Orientation/Meet & Greet day and time, you’ll receive an email prompting you to sign into our digital portal. This portal contains all the necessary documents to get you ready for your appointment.

Additionally, please provide your vaccination records through the digital portal or if you are unable to then share your vet clinic name for vaccine verification to ensure all required vaccines are up to date.
