Omaha-Papillion Dog Boarding

Stay With Us

1-5 Nights: $57/night

Home sweet home away from home where I can have my own blanket and doggie personal space.

Dog boarding shouldn’t just be about where your dog sleeps at night, it should be about how much open-play and socialization they get during their stay.  Our friendly and attentive team will do everything we can to ensure your pup enjoys their own vacation while you’re away.  Our dog boarding guests spend the day having fun with our daycare dogs, only your dog will enjoy even more hours of play so they will be happy but tuckered out when they turn in for the night.  We provide the most open play time with 100% supervision and comforts of any other dog boarding facilities in Omaha!

What Sets Our Dog Boarding Apart

We’re dog parents ourselves and are very attentive to our guests. They will receive the same amount of TLC they would at home. We love all the dogs that come through our doors and treat them like family.

Many boarding centers leave their canine guests in crates for most of their stay with little time for play. We realize that dogs are social animals; that’s why we set aside 10+ hours a day for play plus additional night play for our overnight guests. The only times your dog will be crated during their stay with us is during meal time and their well-deserved afternoon nap following a morning of play. They will stay busy and get plenty of exercise by running, sniffing and jumping with the other dogs for the rest of the day before being put into their crates at night. Our doggy guests sleep in spacious home-style crates designed for their comfort.

To combat homesickness, we encourage dog parents to bring a favorite blanket, piece of bedding or a non-squeak toy. Having something familiar from home will ease your pup’s anxiety and make their stay with us more enjoyable.

THE BENEFITS OF DOG BOARDING AT DOGTOPIA

It is sad to admit that unfortunately there are just some places you can’t bring a dog, your honeymoon, the hospital, on a business trip or just to relax on family vacation. There are also times when it is more convenient to have your dog not at home because of events that may be stressful to them such as an evening with friends, fireworks on a holiday, an overnight party for your kids or renovations around the house.  Dogtopia has got you covered with the most open play dog boarding in Omaha.

It’s helpful to have a place you trust in your back pocket for dog boarding when you have to separate from your canine companion. And the worst time to look for that place is at the last minute. Even before you become a dog owner you should begin thinking about contingency planning in case you have to be away and dog boarding is necessary.

Early in your life as a pet parent, you should look into visiting dog daycare facilities and/or boarding kennels in your area so you can make an informed choice without a hurried need. If you wait until the last minute, the place you have to choose may be full, or may be a bad choice for your dog’s needs.

When I was ten my parents suddenly had an opportunity to go to Europe for the summer. Relying on word of mouth alone, without a previous site visit, they packed me off to a summer camp, said a cheery goodbye and departed for 8 weeks. I’ve never forgotten how lonely and betrayed I felt in that strange place. Dogs, too, can get lonely and depressed. With today’s options, there is no reason to cause your dog undue stress. This is one reason you want to have a fantastic place for dog boarding.

Tips for Choosing Dog Boarding facility

Trust your nose when you are visiting a potential dog daycare or dog boarding facility. The best facilities have special ventilation systems that lessen the aroma of too much dog smell. And while you are at it, make sure that the entire place is clean and orderly. Dogtopia gives facility tours, so you can make a visit prior to when you are planning to leave your dog. If a facility is hesitant about giving you a tour or if the tour seems to omit areas other than the actual play group with dogs in open play, then this is a warning sign. To assist pet parents in transparency when choosing a dog boarding facility, at Dogtopia we are also equipped with web cameras so you can see your dog whenever they are in open play.

We sincerely hope this helps when choosing a dog daycare or dog boarding facility.  It matters to YOU, so it matters to US!
