Everybody is friendly and seems to really enjoy interacting with the dogs. And my dog enjoys interacting with everyone, and his opinion is the one that really matters!
Every single staff member truly cares about my dog’s health, safety and enjoyment at Dogtopia. My dog LOVES it there!! I feel completely confident leaving her there for daycare, grooming and boarding, knowing she is in loving hands.
That you treat all the dogs like they are your own personal dog. My dog feels safe and is happy.

Friendly customer service. Also, don’t know what all goes on during day care and boarding – all I know is that my dog is happy to go there and relaxed when he comes home. Big difference from other daycare/boarding facilities he’s been to.
The staff are warm and welcoming. There’s always space for my dog to be boarded. I love being able to see my dog on the cameras and this past weekend I even saw an employee teaching the dogs commands. I love this location. Wayyyyy better than Fredericksburg location.
Flexibility, kindness of staff, pricing
The employees always greet my dog by name and seem genuinely happy to see her. She loves going to play with her dog friends! I like that I can check on her during the day through the webcams and see what she’s doing. Anytime I’ve had questions or concerns, they have been addressed promptly and in a professional manner. I highly recommend Dogtopia!!
I really appreciate the way that I’m treated, as well as my dog, each time I bring him in and take him out of Dogtopia. Every person that works there is polite, courteous, and respectful. It can get very congested at certain times, but the employees take it in stride.
The areas that I’ve seen are clean and the prices for boarding, grooming, and daycare seem fairly reasonable. Back in January,2024, I looked around Charlottesville for a doggy daycare, when my husband was very ill and suddenly passed away in March, 2024. Dogtopia’s employees have been lifesavers in entertaining my pup while I took care of final arrangements and lots of paperwork!
