At Dogtopia of Ellisville, your dog spends the day in our open-play, off-leash environment with trained Canine Coaches in the room at all times. Dogs are grouped by size and temperament so they can run, learn and make friends with similar play styles while you watch on our live webcams.
Our three spacious, climate-controlled indoor playrooms stay at a comfortable 65 to 70°F for year-round fun, plus an outdoor play yard when the weather cooperates. We welcome all breeds and ages, from puppies as young as four months to seniors, with no upper age limit.

Size & temperament grouping: Dogs are matched to the playroom where they feel most at home and can make BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) with dogs who share their play style.

Joint-friendly flooring: We invested in compressed rubber flooring throughout every playroom to protect hips, joints and paw pads, no hard concrete floors.

Separate, fully walled rooms: Solid walls (not wire fencing) limit distractions and help block airborne germs.

SAFETY & Transparency
Every playroom is staffed by our highly trained Canine Coaches, who supervise and interact with the dogs all day. Their custom training program, designed by a registered animal behaviorist, teaches them to read even subtle body language and safely manage dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. They also observe how your dog plays and interacts with their BFFFs and share those insights with you through periodic report cards.

Webcams in every playroom stream live HD video to our website and free mobile app, so you can check in on your dog throughout the day. Our spacious indoor playrooms use state-of-the-art HVAC with Sterile-Air systems that use UV light to kill airborne pathogens and help maintain fresh, clean air. We deep clean and sanitize twice per day with a hospital grade, pet-friendly cleaner, and our compressed rubber flooring is designed to support long-term joint and paw health.
our meet and greet process
Our Meet & Greet is a required assessment for every new dog at Dogtopia of Ellisville before they join daycare, boarding or spa services. It lets us welcome you to the facility, show you our playrooms and confirm your pup is a good fit for our off-leash, open play environment.
The assessment has two parts: a health and wellness review and a controlled play session. We verify vaccines, review health history and perform a brief nose-to-tail check so we understand any sensitivities and can keep your dog comfortable.
Next, we introduce your dog to a small group of like minded dogs of similar size and temperament in a controlled play setting. Our team watches how they respond to other dogs and staff and checks their comfort in our home-style crates, which we use for naps, meals and boarding. Afterward, we share our observations and, if a dog is not quite ready, they are welcome to try again when they are.
To join our Dogtopia Squad, dogs must be current on Bordetella, DHLPP or DHPP and Rabies vaccinations. Canine influenza is highly recommended and may be required based on local conditions. Dogs must be in good health and free from illness or external parasites such as fleas or ticks for at least 30 days. We welcome all breeds. Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old, and dogs seven months or older must be spayed or neutered.
