Meet the Team
Makenna Bolte, General Manager
For McKenna, the best part about working at Dogtopia besides bonding with all the pups is getting to teach, coach, and train the team to always chase the highest standards of safety. Leads day-to-day operations at Ellisville, managing staff training, playroom structure, and the pet parent experience. MaKenna is a talented baker and crafter and is known to make homemade dog treats for the store and crafts for the pet parents to remember this time with us. (Pictured with Maverick)
Madi Bellinger, Canine Coach Trainer
Madi trains and supports our Canine Coaches who supervise your pups, enforcing safe play, proper handling, and consistent group management. Madi loves that every visit to Dogtopia is tailored to each individual pup that walks through our doors. Her favorite part of the day is seeing the pet parents and updating them about their dogs’ progress and with stories about the exciting they had that day! (Pictured with Goose)
Kiersten Penrod, Regional Manager
Kiersten provides additional supervision, training, and care while overseeing operations and standards between our Rock Hill and Ellisville locations to ensure consistency with the service we provide. Kiersten takes pride in helping people and pups learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and positive environment. Outside of work you can usually find Kiersten volunteering at Dirk’s Fund dog rescue in Pacific; she loves helping the sweet dogs find homes and fosters when she can. (Pictured with Harvey & Marty)
Nick Losciuto, Owner
Hello everyone, I opened Dogtopia in 2018, the first location in Missouri. The dog-care industry was fragmented, lacking transparency and standards, which eroded trust among dog parents in St. Louis. I admired Dogtopia’s leadership and their mission to make pet parents feel comfortable and excited about a second home for their pups. We invested significantly in this store, setting a transparency standard with high-definition cameras in our playrooms and large lobby windows, allowing you to see your pup’s day and feel safe upon entering.
