PUPPY TRAINING AT DOGTOPIA
Build good habits from the very beginning.
A puppy’s first year plays a major role in developing their confidence, social skills, and behavior. At Dogtopia, training is not separated from real life. Puppies learn skills one-on-one, then practice those skills around other dogs, people, movement, and everyday distractions.
That is why our puppy training is built directly into your dog’s 4-week Dogtopia onboarding month.
HOW THE ONBOARDING MONTH WORKS
New dogs begin with a structured 4-week onboarding period designed to help them become comfortable, confident, and successful in daycare.
During the onboarding month, your puppy attends daycare 3 days per week, giving them consistent opportunities to socialize, build relationships with our team, and learn how to appropriately interact with other dogs.
Daycare: $33 per day
One-on-One Training Sessions: $20 per day
Daycare + Training: $53
WHAT Riley Will WORK ON
- Basic obedience and everyday commands
- Sit, Place, Down, Heel, Off, and Leave It
- Proper greetings and reducing jumping
- Focus and engagement around distractions
- Impulse control and self-regulation
- Confidence around dogs, people, sights, and sounds
- Puppy manners and unwanted behaviors
WHY TRAINING AT DOGTOPIA IS DIFFERENT
Teaching a puppy a command in a quiet room is only the first step.
Our trainers work with your puppy individually to teach the skill, then help reinforce it in our supervised daycare environment. Your puppy learns how to listen and stay engaged even when other dogs, people, noises, and distractions are around them.
It combines personalized training with real-world socialization, helping puppies build skills they can actually use outside of a training session.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Puppies must be 16 weeks and older – no preset maximum age; call to discuss
- All puppies must be fully vaccinated
- Puppies 7 months and older must be spayed or neutered
- Must pass a Meet & Greet evaluation for safety and comfort
Each class is 4 weeks in length; dogs attend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Next class starts soon!
GETTING STARTED
Start with your puppy’s Meet & Greet. We will get to know your puppy, introduce them gradually to our daycare environment, and help you determine which training goals would be most valuable during their onboarding month.
