Socialization, learning, and exercise are important for your dog’s well-being. Our spacious 7,000 sq ft. facility includes four large playrooms for pups to form special bonds with one another as they boost their cardio and burn their pent-up energy. To ensure each pup feels confident to approach other dogs, we separate each playroom based on their size and play style, which is determined during the evaluation at their Meet & Greet. Smaller dogs thrive in our Toy Box playroom, larger breeds enjoy our Gym playroom, and our medium-sized dogs with more energy can enjoy the fun that our one of two Romper playrooms provide.

If your dog stays with us overnight or for an extended staycation, they will feel right at home with our caring team. For an added sense of familiarity, we recommend that your pup attends daycare for two to three days before their first sleepover to get them acquainted with our facility, staff, and the other dogs. Our overnight sleeping options include home-style crates and private suites, providing comfort and safety.

For extra pampering, we have a modern spa offering a range of services, including spa baths, nail trimming, teeth brushing, and more. We will get your dog looking and smelling their best, whether during their daycare, boarding stay, or a separate spa appointment.

While your dog is in daycare with us, you can check up on them throughout the day via our HD webcams on the free Dogtopia app or website. Our webcams are located in all four playrooms and are only unavailable during lunch, nap time, and overnight.

SAFE AND COMFORTABLE DOG PLAYROOMS IN FLORIDA

We take the safety and well-being of your dog seriously. When constructing our facility, we paid careful attention to the needs of our furry guests, and we are proud of all that our playrooms have to offer. We used compressed rubber flooring to promote the health and longevity of dogs’ paws, hips, and joints, along with full soundproof walls to eliminate distractions from neighboring dogs. This separation also helps prevent airborne doggie viruses from spreading.

To ensure our indoor playrooms are enjoyable for pups to be in, we equipped advanced HVAC systems to maintain a climate-controlled environment. The temperature is set at 65-70 degrees throughout the day, so pups are always comfortable and happy no matter what the weather might be outside. Because of this, daycare dogs can come home without trekking dirt and debris, which is always appreciated by pet parents.

Within each playroom is our team of Canine Coaches who are there to maintain safety (and fun), supervise pups as they interact with one another, and provide any necessary playtime breaks that our furry guests may need. Our Coaches must complete a custom four-part training process approved by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. In addition to this, they are trained to understand dog body language and behavior, which means pups of any size and breed can feel comfortable in our Coaches’ care. We also offer periodic report cards to pet parents that provide insight into how their pup behaved in daycare, their progress, and details on the furry friends their pup has made.

Our team sanitizes our playrooms multiple times a day using dog-safe cleaning products so that pups can play, learn, exercise, and socialize in a clean and fresh space. The guidelines we follow are approved by Dogtopia’s very own on-staff Environmental Biologist and Veterinary Scientist, so we feel confident in the steps we take to promote the health and well-being of dogs in our care.

MEET & GREET EVALUATION

We strive to create a welcoming environment for all dogs that visit our facility. To ensure everyone’s safety, we require a Meet & Greet evaluation before pups join our off-leash, open play space. Our trained evaluators will perform a thorough snout-to-tail wellness check and review your dog’s medical history. It’s important to note that your dog must be at least 12 weeks old and have up-to-date vaccinations (e.g., DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies, etc.). If your pup has recently received their initial vaccine, we recommend waiting between a week to ten days before attending Dogtopia to allow for a proper immune response. Additionally, dogs seven months and older must be spayed or neutered.

During our evaluation, we’ll create a mini-play space where your pup can interact with other dogs of similar size and temperament. We will observe their response to our staff’s interaction and their behavior around new furry friends. This is also an ideal time to check your dog’s comfort level in our home-style crates. These same crates will be used for their nap time or overnight boarding stay, so it is important for us to know how they respond to them.

Our Meet & Greet evaluation is an essential process that helps us understand your pup’s needs and behavior. It’s also a great opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have and give you a tour of our facility. We want you to have complete peace of mind that your dog is in good hands with us.
