Dogs will receive lots of love and attention from our certified team and plenty of playtime with other dogs while you are at work, on vacation or just running errands. For the safety of all our guests, dogs who attend our daycare or boarding will first be evaluated to ensure they are comfortable in our open-play setting.

A Highly Trained Team

Our team members aren’t just passionate about dogs; they have a deep understanding of them. Our Canine Coaches must undergo training based on a custom curriculum designed by a registered animal behaviorist and independently certified by both the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). Our head office also has a veterinarian, environmental biologist and animal behaviorist on staff.

A safe, supervised facility

At Dogtopia, we work hard to create a safe environment for dogs. We’ve implemented a number of safety measures like floors made from compressed rubber to reduce the impact on the pads of dog’s feet, joints and hips, soundproofing throughout to keep nervous dogs at ease, and a climate-controlled environment fitted with HVAC systems to keep your pup comfortable in the perfect temperature and circulate fresh air. Unlike other dog care facilities, we separate our play areas with walls instead of fences. Not only will this protect against airborne contagions, it will also prevent the overstimulation that may come from seeing dogs they cannot play with. We also have strict protocols in place to reduce the risk of illness and incidents.

Pet-Safe Cleaning Supplies

At Dogtopia, we pride ourselves on being the first in the dog daycare business to address the need to clean using certified pet-safe chemicals while at the same time effectively killing contagious germs. Extensive research has gone into creating our cleaning protocols that guarantee your dog will not come into contact with a cleaning chemical that is not safe for contact, ingestion or inhalation.

Our cleaning products clean and disinfect, while at the same time, offer the highest level of safety available. By using a bio-enzymatic cleaner for spot cleaning when the dogs are in open play, we are ensuring your pup is safe from hazardous chemicals. Thorough cleaning happens twice a day with a sanitizer while your pup is resting. We also perform in-depth routine detail cleaning to maintain our high standards!

We know you have busy schedules. That’s why we offer early drop offs and late pick ups for your convenience. We also have a free mobile app that allows you to easily request appointments, review your appointment schedule, check your history, and watch your pup on our live webcams. In a rush?
